Whatever FACTS are posted on here you will rubbish if they don't agree with your always Critical stance.Leicester Crowds factually are consistently amongst the biggest in British Speedway. Amount of overtaking since mid season is average or better than at the many tracks in British Speedway I've visited or watched on TV this year. So if crowds should be higher and racing better then these are problems you should put at the door of British Speedway as a whole , not just at Leicester as you always do. -

Most of the real fans who go every week don't post on here. The critics who've got the nerve to actually ask questions of DH in person rather than criticise from behind their keyboard have acknowledged racing has got better since mid season. And as for the crowds continuing to reduce as you keep stating , how come the last 2 home league meetings of the season were biggest league crowds for over a year????! -

And you obviously missed the dirty great pile of Shale just inside pits entrance that was taken off the track (50 Tons I heard) in an effort to get the meeting on?Anyone with half a knowledge of Speedway would know that if you take the whole top surface off a track it's bound to reduce passing opportunities but of course it had to happen otherwise there would have been no meeting at all! There was still some decent racing especially in the first 6 heats before it got even slicker. "Shocking racing week in week out"? Even most of the most critical people have acknowledged it's got a lot better as the season went on, so change the record -
Well don't care now whether he used Scunny, Worky or Edinburgh to take the pee out of us, as the joke was on him as the defeat at our place cost him place in the Final :-)
-
Yes, the draw was done during PLRC and he made a joke about picking Leicester with a dig about us being the obvious pick after he'd said Scunthorpe was his pick then changed his mind and said obviously Leicester really , whilst laughing ....
-
and by their promoter taking the pee on the centre green at PLRC when he picked Leicester saying it was an easy pick only to lose at our place too in the playoffs LOL

Well if Redcar get same 20 point defeat result in League away at Rye House as they got there in Cup on Saturday then it's looking quite good for Lions if Lasse (who likes Newcastle) and 1 other have decent days next Sunday, so avoiding a really heavy defeat, seeing as its decided on race point difference if we finish level on match points. -

So you don't think Eklof and Nielsen should score the same or more than RR for Nemo and Sarjeant?? Par for RR for Nemo and JS has been 9 or 10 pts. So should be a fair chance LE and SN will beat or at least match that number between them. Does anyone know definitively how it's decided who in playoffs if us and Redcar finish level on points ? Is it race points? Or head to head results? -

...on small tracks like Edinburgh maybe yes, on mid size or big tracks like Leicester based on evidence in PL this season I'll take Sarjeant as nothing to lose -

Lewis Blackbird is no better a rider away from his Scunthorpe home track now than he was on away tracks when he was a Leicester Rider, and Simon Lambert has gone downhill since he left Leicester, so that's a fallacy. Anyway it's all academic now as regards Rob Branford as he has been replaced by James Sarjeant for what's left of 2013 so says Lions Website -

No idea , but I'd think they are trying really good point, you hear of loads of other teams riders practising at the track thats available 7 days a week, but hardly ever Leicester riders, not even straight after the meeting when curfew allows. So no excuses -

There is NOT any competition this year for 7-12th in PL, it's playoffs or bust -
Didn't you hear Glyn say before the meeting in his interview on centre that track prepared Slicker on inside, grip on outside as that's how the riders wanted it? And it that's grip that produced some great passing by both teams riders and the big Leicester win and no "disaster" and no "serious crashes" in the Leicester v Scunthorpe match.

Don't let facts get in the way will you! If you say there were only 2 passes then you either didn't watch the meeting or are ignoring the plain to see evidence! 2 other examples are Bjerre off bend 4 to take Auty in Heat 5 Niemenen off bend 4 to take Jorgensen in Heat 15 If last Saturdays meeting with Sheffield was 'dreadful' then seeing as it was the joint 2nd best in terms of passing of the 4 meetings I've been to so far this season (same as Scunthorpe and better than Coventry) then perhaps it's about time that we just accepted the FACT that the vast majority of races at EVERY speedway track in the world are won by the rider who gates first (because if the best and fastest rider gates then he will win 99% of the time) and just savour the races where passes occur rather than picking fault even with the ones where passes do occur. :-)
