Yet he averaged more as an El hl last season than any of next seasons reserves managed as protected reserves or in the pl.He is by some margin the strongest reserve, though won't stay in that position, and reversion to a conventional format means it's unlikely we will see reserves notching up huge scores.

History Of British Leagues 1991-2014

Pm Moxey on here. He is the author. Excellent piece of work it is too. -
Surely that is driven by the new regulations in Poland, not the agm. Kl could have fitted nki into the team just fine.
-
So at the first set of averages teams would gave an extra 8 points to build to? That makes sense! Tbh there probably should be a "hybrid" average once the point limit drops, perhaps a 1.25 conversion rather than 1.4.But then new ex pl riders would probably need a conversion of 0.9 or similar
-
Yep, I'd rather have batch on the track and Robbo back in the pits too...
-
Some big away defeats could leave them points to play with, even to a 42 point limit.
-
Tbh I can't see many riders putting large gains on their average. And yet to be established what conversion will be used for replacements. Klindt is the only real candidate I see for putting big initial gains on his average, but even if he gets up to 7.5, who is out there to replace him?
-
not Bewley rather than Nielsen? Don't mind the line up, if you make that one change, but the only team it is stronger than i somerset, and i expect Leicester.
-
depending on the rules. the drop in points limit to 42 will make it tough to strengthen too much. And they should remove the rule that allows you to replace a rider with a lower averaged one even if you are over the points limit. depends on the aces team. but if its say: cook, fricke, worral, worral, jacobs. bewley,smith/williamson as seems to be expected - that is not a better top 5 than coventry, and a weaker reserve pairing.
-
it's hardly an inspiring team, but its also not a terrible team. Josh G, Tungate and Hougaard are all solid 3rd HL in this league, the issue is they don't have a genuine number 1, can see plenty of heat 15 5-1s against them away from home. Starke and Wright are decent 2nd strings, though neither is anywhere near HL ability (whereas at Rye, Watt could be a 4th HL, at Poole Klindt could be etc. ) the reserves pair is solid, though unlikely to dominate, and you have to wonder if a weaker 7 and genuine 1 was the way to go. At home they will be tough to beat, though I expect Poole and Wolves will beat them. that should be enough to keep the crowds coming in. away i expect they will cop some thumpings. bttom end of the table, but maybe not wooden spooners. as a kiwi disappointed BWD didnt get a slot, and as an Aces fan disappointed that Hougarrd did, as had hoped he would be our 3rd HL.

poole and wolves look like being miles better than the rest.Coventry and rye house look like play off contenders. I expect kings lynn will be also. Swindon will be mid table. Belle vue I can't see being play off contenders, albeit hard to judge with no riders named! Leicester and Somerset o can see being the worst two teams. Still early days.

On the 4th attempt, posted in the right forum at least. A few too many beers? Or attempting to make some point about the gp?

BigAmyWay just sounds like a Rebel Wilson movie...

Rose did fine as 2nd string last year, will do fine this year. If he drops to reserve he will be one of the strongest in the league.
-
As whooshes go, that's a big one. Very appropriate you posted a link though.
-
Yep p Hansen had more potential than Rose imo. But in terms of 2017 for lynn, surely Rose is the better/safer option.

Sums Up State Of Speedway Today
waiheke1 replied to TonyMac's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
And this has always been the case imo. Reading is fundamental to do much other learning, and children who get the support at home have a great advantage. Similarly "reading recovery" programmes (or whatever they are called in the uk) are a massive boost to those who struggle, though inevitably such programmes are underfunded. -
But he is nowhere near the standard of those poles if you look at performances in foreign leagues or the u21 champs.
-
No way should any of those poles be a 5. And do u really think they would want to ride here, other than for silly money?
-
Tbf Ellis spent the bulk of his time earning his average at 2nd string. He will do fine. The average rider will drop 15% off their average, Ellis will be around that figure I reckon.
-
I reckon Doyle will drop 20% off his average and Ellis about the same (maybe a little less of a drop). But Doyle will score a point more on average in heat 15 than an alternative hl, and that where his value lies.

let's see then shall we. I'm putting more faith in the news from the wolves fans who attended the talk than your thoughts that it won't happen.
