  1. They are miles away! Doyle will average at least 4 more than worrall in the EL. Morris at least 1 more than lawson. Ellis would outscore summers in the EL imo. I'd say collectively 6 points at least difference, which is probably 7-8 points a meeting when u factor in heat 15 as well.
  2. Dark horses? I'd say it's apparent that they are one of three trams named so far that could win the league. Poole still favourites imo, but this kl side id say just shades the wolves side, though clearly that depends on final wolves signings.
  3. You think Glasgow hl are a stronger trio than Doyle morris and Ellis?!?!?
  4. Would be interesting to know how many (if any)of the occasions that he beat Mauger were outside of Poland
  5. I'm pretty 0atriotic, but Geoff Mardon making the list ahead of jack young!?? Bit like saying Mike bast is one of the top 20 of all time? I'm pretty patriotic, but Geoff Mardon making the list ahead of jack young!?? Bit like saying Mike bast is one of the top 20 of all time?
  6. Mauger above Briggs, Moore, Craven in that era? Hunt above knuttson? No plechanov??
  7. Surely a newspaper I'd meant to hear news? More people will read it if it is actually news, not a recycled press release? If Ronaldo went back to utd, do u think the press would wait for the club statement before saying anything?
  8. There are 20 on each list. I'm not sure what you mean what is being defined? The top 20 for the stated eras. Yes, I consider Wal Morton from the 50s to be one of the top 20 riders from 69-88? For clarity, at the risk of sparking a sid/iris debate, I consider chris better than dave. And the Collins is Peter not Stephen.
  9. 10. No fundin in the 60s70s? Gollob ahead of woffy?
  11. 99-2018 Rickardsson crump Hancock pedersen woffy gollob adams Loram hampel holder Only 10 I realise. 20 needs a lot more thought!
  12. But to go 69-98: Mauger nielsen olsen penhall gundersen Collins rickardsson lee Hamill ermolenko
  13. Briggs 2nd in the 60s though imo. Funding Briggs Mauger knuttson craven
  14. Agree with you 100% on your 70s and 80s lists sid
  15. Tbf I thought that was a big issue in 2015, not so much last year. Can't think of many if any occasions in 16 when he threw away points.
  16. amazing that wolves signed masters though isn't it...
  17. it's incredible! He never disappoints.
  18. I have to say Starman, you are exceptional at letting things go over your head 👍
  19. The first poor meeting I reckon, and suspect it won't just be kl fans...
  20. What do you mean by "true averages"? 2016 using the race format tgat skewed averages a lot? Or have you used scbs weighted averages, which I would argue are the only "true" averages.Clegg and job would be equal to Grondal/zach imo. Hl pairs equalish, as whatever Doyle outscores Freddie by I imagine masters would compensate by outscoring Ellis. But scornicki/howarth definitely stronger than bellego/bwd.
  21. Are you aware of the irony of your posts in the context of the OP?
  22. Holder can nominate uk as his home league. He doesn't ride in an aussie domestic league.
  23. I did quantify it with a ? But pre his injury in 2014 he was reigning world number 3, and was certainly one of the top 3 riders in the world across all competitions. Since then he's more been a top 8-10 type rider than a rider looking likely to be a world champion. My point was that it's hard to identify riders who are past their peak in next year's line up.
  24. Hard to disagree with tgat:I'll hopefully a top 3 of tai greg and emil. Doyle zmarzlick dudek and holder capable of top 3 or better. Puk pedersen pawlicki janowski capable of a top 3 spot. Zagar Lindgren lindback vaculik all capabe of finishing top 8. If I had to make a call at this stage I'd go a top 10 in order of: Tai greg emil zmarzlik dudek Doyle holder pedersen pawlicki puk. But it's going to be a fascinating series Tbh only pedersen would I describe as beyond his peak. Maybe puk? Can't think of any of the others you could describe as past their peak?
  25. Madsen is 19th in dolgins rankings, 20th in Henry's and 21st in mine. 2016 was the best season for him for some time, he's 28 so has plenty of time still to make his mark, though tbh I don't see him ever being a top 10 gp rider. Edit: I had him at 23rd in 2015, so actually quite consistent the last couple of years.
