  1. But why? Either you are entitled to a facility, in which case u can use a guest or rr, or no facility which means neither?
  2. Do you have evidence that the conversation did not go exactly as R&R transcribed? As if you are baselessly accusing him of having his facts wrong you could really find yourself in trouble. And yes, I would tell Racers on you...
  3. If no facility is available you surely can't use Rr? Anyway justice done!
  4. In defence of some of those 70s riders, in some years only 4 riders could progress from the British final, whereas in the 80s it was always at least double that. Surely based on those stats though you'd have to say Simmo under achieved in making only 3 world finals?
  5. I think you have the ages wrong but I think it could well be the oldest
  6. Exactly. That would be like removing a facility for a long term injured rider simply because he started racing again overseas...
  7. Morris has been out scoring Doyle this season, and surely even shovvy would admit that Doyle is better than kk. Agree with other posters, no facility should be given.
  8. But back for the 2017 premier league season. No tactical rides in the ko cup or playoffs.
  9. I think you have entirely missed my point. If you build to 42 points based on old El averages with no multiplier, you have a team that would have co.e to 58.8 for team building at the start of the season.
  10. Correct. What they should have done imo is used scbs weighted El averages as a starting point, applied a suitable conversion for pl averages, and then posdibly applied a further weighting so that 42 was a realistic figure to build to. Them there would have been no need to change team building points limit mid season. What they've ended up with is a farce where rules are being made up as they go along. The only solution I can see is re declarations must be done to within the new points limit I. E. No like for like swaps if the team is over 42 points. So Ellis couldn't be ditched for another 7 pointer for example
  11. It's ridiculous if they don't apply a multiplier when new averages come out. It means that theoretically you could redeclared with a side that would have been 8.8 points over the limit atvthe start of the season!
  12. Regardless of whether they checked or not it clearly breaks the rules. It's probably even worse if Leicester, the scb and the referee all thought it ok to ignore the rules. Or has it been ruled that Riss is not classed as s double upper? What I don't understand is why on the official averages in column b they show the +5% average even for du riders. That's just inviting people to make an error.
  13. clearly illegal and poole probably should have protested against it in line with the process niel set out?Which imo is ridiculous, why should the opposition have to verify that the team named is illegal? Imagine the outcry on here if it has been poole being the team cheating on this occasion.
  14. Surely you can only speculate on things you can't prove? If you could prove them you wouldn't be speculating, you'd be staying a fact?
  15. hhSurely this side is better than say the 83 robins side?
  16. Schlein and Howe for thorssel and clegg? On form so far that is strengthening, though both those current riders should be performing better.Schlein definitely value on that average.
  17. Before 1.4 conversion? Or is that an old pl average?
  18. Scbs figures show from 2012 to 2014 batch performed roughly the same. Dropping only in 2015 which coincided with the change in heat format.Shows a solid hl who had an awful 2016. Would be very surprised if he doesn't increase his starting average.
  19. hExactly. To pick up points away you need the top 3 to score at least 30 between them. If the 2nd strings can score a dozen they've done their job, and you'd be expecting the reserves to contribute 3 between them. Clegg has performed below ecpectstion, but as you say it is thorssel and masters that are the issue. Good start to the season for Howarth though.
  20. Ridiculous that uk get only 2 spots. Poland and Denmark certainly deserve more. GB should get roughly the same as Sweden and Aussie, can understand a place less. Without a doubt should be more than any of the other nations, you could argue Russia is a possible exception but when did emil or the Lagutas last enter?
  21. Tbf even in the 80s that was the format for the bl pairs. But I agree there should be some kind of cumulative score method, perhaps with double points up for grabs in the final.
  22. Strong hl trio, solid 2nd strings, one of the best reserves?
  23. Surely fans should have been offered a partial refund. Those that wanted to treat their admission fee as purely a donation to darcy would not take up the offer. Those who viewed it as a speedway meeting they were paying to see could have had their money back (in part). Everyone happy and fans willing to attend next year even if the weather looked dicey.
