Grand Prix Challenge 2017
waiheke1 replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hoping for a top 3 of zagar cook and fricke, failing that g laguta. Dudek and pawlicki should make top 8 anyway. -
So you are saying that of a meeting is abandoned after 6 heats with the score 30-6 it will be declared no result? Surely the team leading can quote the two previous cases as precedent?
-
It won't level out as only maybe one meeting every couple of seasons will fall into this category. But what this precedent sets is that a meeting can now be declared after 6 heats, using the logic that a lead can be opened up that cannot be caught within the remaining 4 heats to the end of heat 10. 40% of a meeting doesn't seem like an appropriate point to declare a meeting to me. Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirates 9/6/17

Ah ok. It was just that the post directly before yours mentioned that batch was guesting for zengi Tbh it's not known how they will treat riders who have ridden a handful of meetings. If they keep the old average then it creates issues for teams making changes to 42, though opens up a myriad of guest opportunities (eg Doyle could guest for zengy). But of course if they change averages, could mean someone like zengy drops to a 5 point average based on a couple of poor meetings. Bspa have really made a mess of this! -

I think that is a whoosh of Starman proportions! -

G Z isn't riding? Unless this is a whoosh and you are Steve brums alter ego having a dig at Kk being regularly missing -
Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 7/6/17

Yep, and looks like he hooked a small one... A genuine number 1 in for zengy/Kk. Then bring Kk back on his low average once the new averages come out (and he is fit). -
The rule itself is fine. It's the interpretation that it can be applied to the result after 10 heats rather than 15 which is the issue.

Really shame that lambert wasn't given either a British spot or a wildcard spot Anyone have a list of the remaining 32? -

This ruling actually means it potentially could be 6 heats if there is reason to believe only 10 heats would be run. Re the heat 10 exclusion: isn't the rule (or common interpretation) that you can't be excluded for dangerous riding that hinders a team mate? So whoever hit the deck first would likely be deemed cause of the stoppage? -
If your top 3 are averaging about 26.5 between them and the bottom 4 about 13, you should be fine to be able to upgrade one of them to Rohan. Haven't checked latest figures but those are roughly where the Tobins are sitting.

Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 7/6/17
waiheke1 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I understand that, but you asked what those figures were So I explained. The sgb site is painfully slow on my phone so I couldn't be bothered to check whether the figures quoted included bp -
No. See about 4 posts above you asking the question
-
Why? It is based on teams doing 4/4 not riders.

They are the 2017 averages season to date (not sure if they are with or without bp) -
Stunned? Really?
-
Would surely be a 9.8, or a 7 once the new averages are out. No way would he fit for porsing.

Josh Auty And The Not 28 Day Ban
waiheke1 replied to SCB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
And of course the scb rule book seems totally silent on the matter. Unless anyone can spot something I've missed? -
Or was Bastable an overachiever? Won a British final when he was some way off being the best Brit at the time - probably struggling to be in the top 10 Brits at the time tbh.

Neil Watson has indicated on here that averages will be released once all teams have ridden 4h and 4 away. And no, it doesn't make any sense, just another sign that they idioted things up and didnt see the issues that half the bsf saw coming.

Read it again. "A la Hancock " is the bit you seem to be missing. Unless you once treated fans as mugs I can't see how you could read this as me accusing you of lying. -
I just can't wait to hear from brum if wolves were to sign kk...

His lies about letting holder past last year in the final gp. Was covered on here extensively. He was excluded for it then threw a tantrum and quit the meeting, before coming out with statements on his website and in the media. His lies about letting holder past last year in the final gp.
