  1. All considered, but not sure any justify inclusion above those mentioned. Bill andrew would probably be my numver 8.
  2. 1. Ivan Mauger 2. Larry Ross 3. Barry Briggs 4. Geoff Mardon 5. Ronnie Moore 6. Mitch Shirra 7. Ron Johnston team in riding order
  3. so, you don't think aussie cricketers or chefs working in the uk have to abide by visa rules...?
  4. Hard to argue with that team tbh!
  5. For home meetings (@ hyde rd of course) Carter parker craven c morton peter collins mike lee Loram haven't included pre war riders for "away" meetings would bring in waterman price and woffinden for carter morton and loram.
  6. I think the analysis is already done early in either this thread or the aussie visa one. About 7 riders miss the criteria
  7. Any chance the verdict (I.e. guilty/not guilty)will be next week, but "sentencing" (if found guilty) to follow within the coming 45 days?
  8. Mike lee and tai would be ahead of jessup and louis for me. Would considee mort simply for his partnership with pc.
  9. But scb didn't call him a rapist or guilty of rape, he said he was accused of rape. Why did you dispute that?
  10. Agreed. But was the only reason I could think of why phil and twk would post that he hadn't been accused of rape.
  11. Upon checking, looks like it was sexual assault he was accused of? There u go, a pillar of society!
  12. re-read what scb wrote. Which part of it is not a fact?
  13. #middloandishareabrain #histurnwithittoday #teammensa
  14. oh so your a legal expert are you? Spoke with a brief 26 years experience he says its a joke. #whoneedsfacts #needafewbeers
  15. I wouldn't bet on that, especially if starman's maths is as good as his logic...
  16. as others have pointed out, the rules around visa elegibility have been unchanged for 5 years, and those rules have been breached. If there are new rules also breached thst jst makes it worse.
  17. ll - I think u are "spectacularly missing" scbs point.
  18. to consider someone drunk I would say they would have to be over uk limit. Lets say reading at least 0.1%. A practiced drinker may need to be higher. as an utterly irrelevant side note, nz drink drive limit just got reduced from 0.08% to 0.05% which after two months is already making noticeable change to people's drink/drive behaviour(I.e. less beers at lunch or afterwork).
  19. surely a starting point would be the legal road drink drive limit, which I believe he was well under?to be considered"drunk" id say maybe 50% over. to be clear, that it no way mitigates ward, clearly unacceptable to be ready to race with any alcohol in his system. but to describe him as drunk is imho totally inaccurate. From what ive heard the danno case was quite different?
  20. Bobby beaton at 8? you didnt miss much in the 80s, kenny mckinna was the best scotsman but wouldn't make the team ahead of any u have named
  21. and ytesam agreed with you.but its not correct to say he would have had no punishment if that was the ban handed down, missing a great chance to be world champ due to suspension is quite significant. are you sidney in disguise...?
