  1. No disrespect, but guttingvseeing Masters out there not ward Super gate mind
  2. steve brumlogic. thinks they will end in roughly same average but would rather have the one on nearly 1.5 higher starting averagr because he rates him higher.seems lots of primoters use the same logic, which is why poole end up with tge best team year sfter yrar
  3. But we already know the draft won't be fair, due to the use of pl converted averages rather than el converted averages. One team is a big winner from that....
  4. The more I think about the hl list, the more I think it is going to be poorly executed. Poole have holder Andersen and north, all on bargain averages and all of whom should be classed as hl. If you add Kurtz, who most think is going to poole, Newman and another 4 pt reserve, they will have a 7.5 spot remaining. Can't see Ford having agreed to the rule if he was going to end up with unusable team building points. Or if he couldn't use an asset like north on a sub 6 average. This also shows that 90% of speedway fans don't really understand averages. The whole vpointvof a hl list is surely to ring fence those with artificially low averages and those with artificially high averages. Zengi obviously the latter.he would be a terrible hl signing, clearly should not be on the hl list
  5. youcreally think thorssel is a point snd a hslf better thsn barker?
  6. if they go back to a conventional race format hans will be an 8+ rider without doubt
  7. I doubt very much Tai has reduced his earnings by a third not racing in the UK. I'd be amazed if it was more than a 10% drop in total earnings.
  8. lol. you cant make a dozen posts without mentioning your journalistic bsckground and websites you moderate!
  9. the one who was involved invthe porn industry worked in comfortably the more respectable profession.
  10. actually think r wirrall could fit if they use him as their reserved draft rider and promote steve to the top 5. wouldnt be a title winning team but should be too 4
  11. disagree re doyle, as number 1 he will ride 5 heats each meeting but only 4 of those are counted for team buikding, so think he is still a solid usevof points, though not a bargsin like freddie hans or bjerre.agree scbs post was spot on
  12. wont fit with the same team. think r worrall for josh as only chsnge ends slightly too high. anders thomsen for josh would work and leave us around a point spare.
  13. scb any chancecu coukd post a table comparing yoyr weighted averages to officiak greenshets. ti show variance in absokute or percentage terns as an example swindon fans ate ckamouring to sign zengivand ditch batch, but your stats show batchvis the better signing by about 2 points.
  14. so scb hasnt updated his database for ownership. harfly relevant to the poiny of the thread. scb - does your database record how many ht15s each rider rode in?
  15. By any sensible measure he should be on the hl list. But wouldn't surprise me if they've simply agreed a 6.5 average cut off, which Hans would conveniently fall just under.
  16. excellent signing for pirates on that average especislly if he is the third heat leader
  17. if your boss could get someone to cover for you who could do a better job, then he might well let you have the time off!
  18. I don't understand what you have done there Mr mungo? Edit: that's the ratio of their el to pl average? So on average el is about 85% of pk average. So a 0.5 conversion rate of combined el and Pl average would seem about right. Riders who rode only pl last year could just have the standard 0.6 conversion applied to that.
  19. though tbf over the last couple of seasons youve had woffy paelickis magic killer mjj etc.so there must be a way ti make it work if uvlook at say zagar at bv on 3k a meetung, a large portion of which i understand is paid by dponsors. assuming if you replaced him with a 3pter crowds wpuld dip by 5% i think bv end up financially better off with zagae in the team
  20. Personally would like to see a reversion to the 1988 BL format, minimum 3 Brits per team one of whom must be under 21. Would mean bulk of ftr riders would still get a team spot, progression would mean getting tougher rides in main body of team, as all riders averages would count (current fast track riders to come in either at 0.5 of el average or 0.6 of pl) for team building should even teams up, and would avoid anomalies like r worrall not having a spot while lesser riders did. Ideally this would be combined with pl having two British reserves u21/23.
  21. actually, if you are riding as a heat leader in the uk, the standard if riders you face is very similar to both poland and sweden
  22. have to be the two pcs for engksnd, given peter collins record in the event. agree hsns and eric and mauger briggs poland would go golkob hampel. usa agree penhall hsncock emil and plechanov for russia.
  23. sweden and kiwis to battle for the title, danes third. usa to battle with england and aussie for fourth, though denmark "b" (olsen/pedersen) would likely beatvall three of those latter pairs.
  24. its not tai that has the issue, its one of his support team. a sportsperson entering for a major event would have no issues unless they had serious criminal convictions (and being denied entry to aussie becausecyou were a convict is quite ironic)
  25. Mauger/woffy Gundersen/Briggs Olsen/crump Using chrs pairs; Fundin/Briggs Mauger/Moore Hans/eric
