Nicholls cook lambert Harris. Can't help but feel the "final" system counts against poor gaters . Worrell and garritty to be in the top 6. Shame Bridger isn't in the line up, he potentially could have been in the mix. For those top four, possibly this meeting determines which three join tai in the swc line up? Aces fan but would quite like to see lambert earn the Cardiff wild card spot

It's actually a surprisingly sensible and seemingly soundly worded change. The only issue is if the refs don't implement the two minute rule correctly, for example masters the other week.

The issue wasn't that Jon cook called fans thick based or both. It was that he did so defending a list that showed the bspa had spectacularly failed to grasp the nature of the problem that the hl list was meant to address, particularly when the issues the heat format would create were pointed out by posters such as scb two years ago when it was revealed.I doubt scb would have had an issue if Jon cooks comments were justified, as let's face it some fans ARE thick, biased or both (one in particular springs to mind 😂)

This isn't the benefit of hindsight, myself and scb argued it at the time. There shouldn't have necessarily been 24. It should have been based on riders who rode mostly at hl last year and thus had artificially low averages. The whole concept of a hl list then becomes even more flawed when it is disregarded from may onwards.

Correct. Swindons edr outscored Leicester comfortably, but Starke would clearly have scored more from reserve. Kurtz scored 10+1 from 4 non reserve heats prior to heat 15, so clearly had the beating of all the robins riders bar Doyle. Had he an stake swapped positions doubt scores would have been much difference.Though you do wonder how much impact the confidence boost of an easy first up win impacts on riders Agreed. Have to say that Leicester team had no riders you would consider a genuine hl let alone a number one, but a good effort from them. This season is reinforcing that king and watt should never have been on the hl list.

I understand why people don't like batch,but end of the day can't see anyone better you could replace him with. If I was a swindon fan i would be much happier with batch havinfmg been retained my 3rd heat leader than tungate or sedgeman .

Was it not wozniaks club that recalled him? As presumably the contract he has signed with them entitles them to? If it doesn't, presumably he could have refused and had them terminate his employment but continue to ride for Leicester. Care to elaborate which contract tai has signed where he commits to exclusively race for that British club?

You misread Steves post. He was suggesting the solution, not stating how things currently are. Definitely looks like the track us reminiscent of Hyde Rd, with plenty of lines and room to pass inside or out.

Is there anywhere this meeting is likely to be available to view? Sounds like a cracking meeting, with a track which could perhaps one day be mentioned in the same context as Hyde Rd.

OK so if they cannot ride as reserve, are they still entitled to replace a rider riding at reserve? Where in the rules does it say they may? That I believe is scbs point.

Really odd post. Where did I say or imply kk finished top 2 last season? Just pointing out that Lindgren hadn't even qualified. Kk was rubbish last year, statistically probably not even in the top 100 in the world, but not sure how that is relevant to this season? Secondly, only the very top riders have averaged 8 riding as a hl in this heat format. So a rider scoring double figures as a number one in over 50% of meetings is actually doing a good job. Not sure why you see kks scores as something to be knocked.
