  1. Harris is averaging roughly a point more than cook in the El this season.
  2. Why would he gift holder a point when they are battling for the world title? Why would he be happy just qualifying for the semi?you mention saving himself for the gps, why then would he not give his all IN the gps? Really strange post
  3. I think we are agreed. It was probably posdinle if he really wanted, but would make no sense at all to do it.
  4. He could have got bikes there. I suspect it would have meant losing money to race. And would have made no sense at all in terms of his pursuit of the world championship. But his Sweden bikes could surely have been freighted to the UK for Friday and back to swe'd en by Tuesday. It would just make no financial sense to do so, nor in a professional sense.
  5. Try roogames@Google mail.com That was stil working a couple of years back even though the email on the website was not
  6. Is there any possible difference between bringing bikes over when you have a gp the next day in another country versus bringing them over when you have a week with no other speedway?
  7. Yes Freddie points count and he could qualify for next year or win a medal if he go enough points. But hampel when fit should come back to take his place in the series. No guarantee of a wild card though, I believe he has had two in last few seasons already.
  8. How often will kiwi fans see Steven Adams play basketball in nz? Winston Reid play football? Lydia Ko play golf? Scott Dixon race cars? How often did Ivan Maurer race in nz at his peak? Fact is sports stars compete where they can earn the most money, best establish themselves at the elite level and have optimum chance of achieving their respective sports ultimate prize.
  9. Flying shale is an excellent simulation game for pc already available. Would be great if this could simply be updated for android.
  10. Bjerre would always have been a good signing for this year, but kl fans spent all last season plus the pre season saying they didn't want him.... And then people complain that riders lack loyalty!
  11. There is actually a difference between customers and bosses, just saying...
  12. I suspect that Johnny the spud may have a better idea than you about Adam'a fitness Gavan...
  13. Have you any evidence Gavan that tai would have ridden in the British final if seeded or qualifying dates were different? Otherwise it's not really a fact?
  14. Lee seemed to win his first race at hyde Rd then fade, but certainly wouldn't say he was poor. One of my favorite memories though is mort and a 17vyear old Andy Smith coming from the back to record a 5-1 over him, in 83 when Lee was flying.
  15. Yeah tbh that makes sense. Do we think though that tai was told that if he didn't ride the semi he wouldn't be given a British final spot? Seems very odd given the Danny king situation Edit: actually that doesn't really answer my query. Tif tai had already been told he wouldn't be given a spot, why not say that rather than the unfair on other riders line. And if tai had already said he couldn't take a wildcard, why would he need to be told he wouldn't be given one if he didn't ride the semi? All of which is off topic I guess, does anyone bar Robert really think it makes sense to leave him our?
  16. That's a good line up to be fair. Will be interesting if kk can push for a rostrum spot. Hopefully for emil this will be a warm up for returning to a meaningful competition next year...
  17. Surely in 2 he is saying he isn't willing to take a wildcard spot - his reason is that it is unfair, but I don't see how you can argue that he's not saying he's unwilling to take a wildcard. On 1 - do you have a link to support the claim that tai was told he would not get a wildcard if he missed the semi? And if he said 2, why would they need to say 1? And if 1 happened first, why would tau need to say 2? I have no issue with tais decision at all, but your argument here is not fully convincing.
  18. No mention of Carl blackbird Rob? If only for one meeting, he was amazing against Hand ;-)
  19. I think there is only one orperson who doesn't understand that riding the semis was not viable (actually, seeing the bomber comparison above, make that two people). But at the same time, if tai said he wasn't willing to take a wildcard to the British final, then I can understand people being annoyed at that.
  20. Tbh of tai was offered a wild card and turned it down that makes it a little more understandable that people are annoyed he missed the final. After all that's how Danny king "qualified". And wasn't bomber told he needed to ride a semi or possibly miss out?
  21. Jessup wasn't great at Hyde Rd, though I recall one teSt vs USA in 81 where he scored about 16. Schwartz and Kennett definitely struggled. Simmons wasn't too bad from memory, though certainly never dominated a meeting.
  22. Steve finch in his Halifax days was always very good round Hyde Rd, certainly rode well above his average. Bobby shwartz probably falls under the visiting riders who hated your track category for Hyde Rd as well!
