Not that I agree with it, it is sort of sensible. So now that it's ok to do it, come on guys, start thinking about who you want to meet in next season's cup and, the 'draw' can be arranged early.

Maybe the winners should be seeded straight to the final and, they can pick their opponents. Cuts out all the unnecessary draws, matches etc. But it can still be the 'Cup Final'

If it's the way to go teams should start picking opponents for next season, it'll save having to mess about doing a draw. Cup winners could grab any byes.
