Adding to all that Dave, I was under the impression of having fairground rides and market stalls,,, would that still work on a shortened Monday evening?
Would any new venue be close to Brough?,,, would any new venue have good public transport links and, how many of the usual crowd use public transport or walk to Brough?,,, Surely there will be some that live local to Brough, but am sure many regulars will travel from further afield?
Am not sure if that place has been on the radar for a while now. Am sure some our sponsors are up that way. Its probly not easily accessible for fans reliant on public transport tho.
I don't know if another venue would be available and, at what cost. It's just a shame that money saved this season by fans, couldn't be somehow be put into a fund to source a new venue?
I would put my money saved this season into next season.
A get that the bookies can bring in more money, but I was thinking that not many would be bothered about gambling after the carry-on, (a bit naive maybe).
Ok, maybe something to think about, but agree with the other guy,,,, Redcar no way.
BTW,,, its pleasing to see that some think that running televised greyhound meetings on a Sunday is gonna work, especially after this corona carry-on.
I remember that tune in our house, we even made it into a football song, the record will still be around somewhere
Playing the piano on the mantelpiece, excellent.
