ok,,, probly none off it, especially if it's paid 'on the door',,, but, the online money has to go into some kind of account,,, in Newcastle's case, it's probly into 'William Hills', just like mine, I like it in there cos they are open every day, (apart from Christmas Day and Good Friday, I think),,, and they have more sociable opening hours ;-) oh,,, and there's probly one in every town or village you come across, lol

online payments make use of the bank's computer and cyber-money,,, and your not actually having to pay some-one to sit on the gate, and as cyclone said, there's no cost of transporting the 'dosh' to said bank, which would probly happen the next working day,,, maybe the way forward to stop this, would be to have automated ticket machines and barrier's, (like what we have here on the 'Metro' system), you only have to pay the electricity to run them, which is probly cheaper than 'manual labour',,, oh, and the price of installing them :-(

Newcastle V Edinburgh Koc Semi-final ?
ruffdiamond replied to ruffdiamond's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think that says it all,,, the fixture was public knowledge for quite some time, it was even talked about on here,,, surely no-one from either Glasgow or Newcastle had objected to it, knowing that one of them would maybe need that day !!!,,, obviously, Glasgow probably did'nt bother cos they knew they would'nt get through,,, but in Newcastle's case, surely some-one should've been aware of it sooner ???,,, that's planning,,, I can't see why George can get any credit for allowing the Peterborough v Edinburgh match to go ahead, unless he had agreed to it beforehand :-( -

just been reading about it on another thread,,, still seems a bit wrong to go public with it when on the BSPA site, it's still Peterborough v Edinburgh, or maybe their not open yet, a dunno :-( -
Looking on the 'Diamonds' website, it say's that this leg will be run on 5th Oct 18.30,,, I've read somewhere before that Edinburgh are at Peterborough a bit earlier at 14.00,,, After the lastest start time at Glasgow fiasco, could someone of authority please shed some light on this,,, I mean, if it's bad to go to Glasgow and find you've got a 2 hour wait for some action, (a know, that's not usually the case),,, but if your a Monarch's fan and travel to E.O.E.S only to find out that you've gotta drive back upto Newcastle, cos your in the wrong place, that's gotta be even more of a p!sser,,, :-)

Could well be buttering Fox up for a move to Brough,,, av seen worse,,, he reminds me of Eddie Ingels :-) I think I see where your coming from Gaz,,, but me for sure, I would maybe have an idea of better guest's, but it's wether or not their available, or even want to commit,,, it's ok to say 'Fred would do better than Bob', but can they fit us in ?

I think Wells and Summers would do ok, don't think they would vastly improve tho,,, whereas Kerr and Rose are on the upgrade, would keep Robbo, (to keep the native's happy),,, Ludvig for defo for entertainment value alone, (on and off pitch),,, Olly Greenwood for me ahead of Jacobs, not dissin Joe, but don't think he looks at ease at Brough, what I've seen of him, but bags of potential elsewhere :-)

sorry,,, I was referring to the no.1 bit,,, he is currently 4th in our averages, so being No.1 is highly unlikely, shame nonetheless, but definately highly unlikely,,, I hope that's answered your question :-) I posted a team that I would like for next season earlier,,, but in all honesty can't see the return of the Worralls, so I would maybe swap them for Aaron Summers and Ricky Wells,,, I know Ricky comes in for stick at times, but I think he's ok,,, there's plenty time for that,,, I mean, this season is'nt even over yet, and since you've only just got all your toy's back in the pram,,, we'll take each day as it comes, lol ;-)

we would have to loose a couple of good riders, if that was to be possible :-)
-
yeah,,, but you've gotta have Ludvig, he create's so much debate on here,,, it's great :-)
-
nothing wrong with Simon, but I think Victor would be a real steal on a 3pt ave,,, IMOO
-
that's a shame, cos we coulda probly had another rider with 5 Brit reduction's :-(

Steve Worrall 8.07 Stuart Robson 7.67 Lewis Kerr 6.92 Richie Worrall 6.90 Ludvig Lindgren 6.73 Olly Greenwood 3.29 Victor Palavarro 3.00 comes in at 42.58, but sure with the Brit reduction factor, it might work :-)
