  1. maybe King's the 'bait' in the Wolbert deal,,, ;-)
  2. and,,, with there usually being plenty riders out injured by October, am sure each team could scrape together 4 rider's without the use of guests :-)
  3. would definately take a chance on Kerr making it to our no.1, after a month or so, (he did say that was his aim at the d/d, but where ?),,, dunno about Wolbert tho, but he may be a good shout to take some of the heat off other's ;-),,, the 'Turnip Twin's' at 3/4, good reserves, but it's all if's n but's just now a suppose :-)
  4. ah !!!,,, so that's what you've been hankering over ???,,, a see now (@,,@) lol there's does seem to be a few inner circle's around speedway maybe just co-incidence,,, a mean what a time to ring, during the speeches :-),,, would've been better if he had rang Ludvig like, but then that might've looked suspect ;-)
  5. dunno,,, but they could share the gate money, or pay them an average points money, (elite league riders, ride for less, and national league get more, and so on),,, if the 'superstars' don't wanna be involved for less money, tell them to get on their bike, literally,,, something's gotta change, according to some folk :-) you could call it the 'BSPA Super-cup',,, or summit,,, all the riders involved would be on equal points money, if some don't want to represent their club,,, then we will all know who not to invite back to ride for us again :-(
  6. a no it may sound crazy, but could the League Cup not be run like the F A Cup in football ???,,, all 3 league's drawn out of a hat, 1 tie, home or away,,, it might be a money spinner for some poorer club's and might generate some interest, say like Kings Lynn away at Mildenhall,,, just a thought :-)
  7. was there any points/average limit's in the good old day's, or was it just a case of sign who you like if you can afford to pay them ??? cos I do seem to remember a 50pt limit (?), maybe late 70's/early 80's being brought in, and there was a big who-har about that and Newcastle had to ditch Tom Owen and Nigel Crabtree because of it,,,
  8. oh,,, a was'nt quite that old then like :-(
  9. can't remember what it was called before that, bet you could, lol
  10. 'The Stadium Scurry' being one of them ? :-)
  11. I, like TWK would'nt might any of those coming to Newcastle, but all with 'sub 7pt ave' might struggle at No.5,,, plenty room for improvement like :-) but, with 1 from Poole, 1 really hot property and the other not too keen on our 'unique circuit',,, a can't really see it happening :-(
  12. would he then be 'the diamond-back moth' ???,,, of if he were to ride for Sheffield, or say Glasgow, he would be the 'tiger moth',,, am pretty sure TWK would be pleased about that, lol :-) (they are real moth's, I checked last night while I was bored, there is 000's of different moth's) have you not got 'freeview' yet ???,,, and x-factors here til nearly christmas, so it's time to do some D.I.Y around the house for me :-(,,, or just get an extra bottle of wine/beer on a Saturday :-)
  13. would be nice to see Richie back, but after the lastest shinannigan's, I can't see it happening :-(,,, just been reading George's article about the 2014 season, interesting paragraph on Anton and the injuries he recieved at Peterborough,,, did'nt realise that it was so bad, but glad to see he made a quick recovery and was riding in Sweden the day after we used R/R for him at Ipswich,,, unless it's wrong,,,
  14. if he's a 7pt. man, that's ok in my book, there has to be rider's on all average's to make up a team,,, but to constantly find fault and slate the bloke, is, in my opinion, totally unjust,,, I've had me eye's opened with speedway, and folk wonder why it's failing ???
  15. I think losing Rose was our biggest problem late on,,, having to cover his rides with, say, Lindgren, Neilsen, Mills or a guest,,, ok at home, but not so away(not really the strongest away trio) :-( then we lost Kerr, who was really on form at the time,,, I think the key is to try keep hold of Kerr and Rose, Kerr could be no. 1 material,,, Rose, unlucky first season here, thrown in a the deep end, but think he's well capable of swimming,,, Robbo, will do a job, but not getting any younger,,, Ludvig, fair enough, might've reached his limit,,, Neilsen, dunno, good trier but I don't see bags of improvement,,, so, maybe it's best to see who we can keep and build from there :-)
  16. oh,,, and here's me thinking you might've had a 'hot ass',,, and no, a don't want to see it, not now anyway,,,
  17. nowt like a good bit of crack :-),,, not sure about your's like, hot is it, or is that from a curry ??? ;-)
  18. yeah,,, and with 'good crack',,, he'd be everyone's favourite
