  1. there's a few Swede's I would like to be in aswell :-),,, but I'm not sure how likely it is,,,
  2. Cookie has looked far superior than anyone for the last couple of season at Brough, he said he likes riding here,,, dunno why he sometime's looks well below par in the Elite league, like something is holding him back,,,
  3. a weekend in Poland,,, or a miserable night in Byker,,, it's a no-brainer ;-)
  4. I'm hardly gonna do that,,, don't think there will be anything that will brighten anyone's future,,, phhh, 'TWK', should be more like 'TGR' (The Grim Reaper)' lol ,,, but, they were dropped non-the less and although it's done, we've probly gave (threw) away 14 pts. in exchange for 12, but,,, if your looking for some-one to blame, I'll agree with you there, lol,,, IMO,,, mistakes have been made, but I do think it's a bit late to start bleeting on about guest's, who quite frankly, have had a better offer and even with an 18 or 21 pt. max, would probly not even be enough to see us proceed any further :-(
  5. earlier in the season, when big changes were made,,, apparently, one of them found out on facebook,,, charming
  6. I would take Palovaara on a 3,,, apparently he's 'Lightnings' mate, so that's probly a bit biased, lol
  7. was'nt that long ago when Newcastle were binning rider's at the drop off a hat,,,
  8. maybe Richie only agreed to guest, to make sure we did'nt get thru, now Stevie and his new mates have done the job there's no-need,,, dunno, stranger thing's have happened :-)
  9. would'nt say big changes, but we do need to unearth some reserves that are capable of scoring big at some away meetings,,,
  10. just read it,,, don't think that statement will do any favours for Richie's credability, and any bridges that were there may have been burned,,, shame, cos I like Richie :-(
  11. well,,, anyway,,, am not really interested where the money goes, but buying stuff online will probly be cheaper, generally :-)
  12. am sure you know what I meant,,, but the 'cyber-cash' must go into some kind of account :-(
  13. ok,,, probly none off it, especially if it's paid 'on the door',,, but, the online money has to go into some kind of account,,, in Newcastle's case, it's probly into 'William Hills', just like mine, I like it in there cos they are open every day, (apart from Christmas Day and Good Friday, I think),,, and they have more sociable opening hours ;-) oh,,, and there's probly one in every town or village you come across, lol
  14. online payments make use of the bank's computer and cyber-money,,, and your not actually having to pay some-one to sit on the gate, and as cyclone said, there's no cost of transporting the 'dosh' to said bank, which would probly happen the next working day,,, maybe the way forward to stop this, would be to have automated ticket machines and barrier's, (like what we have here on the 'Metro' system), you only have to pay the electricity to run them, which is probly cheaper than 'manual labour',,, oh, and the price of installing them :-(
  15. I think that says it all,,, the fixture was public knowledge for quite some time, it was even talked about on here,,, surely no-one from either Glasgow or Newcastle had objected to it, knowing that one of them would maybe need that day !!!,,, obviously, Glasgow probably did'nt bother cos they knew they would'nt get through,,, but in Newcastle's case, surely some-one should've been aware of it sooner ???,,, that's planning,,, I can't see why George can get any credit for allowing the Peterborough v Edinburgh match to go ahead, unless he had agreed to it beforehand :-(
  16. yeah,,, he's tattoo-mad issinee,,, he remind's me of Tai, but only better and more exciting :-)
  17. well,,, as long as I know before I stop drinking on Saturday night/Sunday morning,,, was/am looking forward to a proper hangover, now am just confused,,, anyway, it might be raining ??? :-(
  18. just been reading about it on another thread,,, still seems a bit wrong to go public with it when on the BSPA site, it's still Peterborough v Edinburgh, or maybe their not open yet, a dunno :-(
  19. Looking on the 'Diamonds' website, it say's that this leg will be run on 5th Oct 18.30,,, I've read somewhere before that Edinburgh are at Peterborough a bit earlier at 14.00,,, After the lastest start time at Glasgow fiasco, could someone of authority please shed some light on this,,, I mean, if it's bad to go to Glasgow and find you've got a 2 hour wait for some action, (a know, that's not usually the case),,, but if your a Monarch's fan and travel to E.O.E.S only to find out that you've gotta drive back upto Newcastle, cos your in the wrong place, that's gotta be even more of a p!sser,,, :-)
