  1. it's a pity Darcy Ward didn't hang out with Kate Moss, or out of ;-)
  2. arr come on,,, your just being silly now, vodka isn't cheap :-(
  3. Oh, forgot about the valves, put the balloon on the exhaust outlet and leave the sparkplug in,,, but use a knackered sparkplug, cos you don't want to engine firing up, cos it might burst the balloon, or at least melt it (so wear gloves !!!),,, p's,,, the guy did state that he wasn't very technical, so coming up with all these idea's, might be pushing him a bit too far ;-)
  4. Well, hopefully we'll get to see our full 7 riders for this 1, would expect Ulrich and Robert Lambert to score well, but not sure about the rest of the Panthers, their reserves might struggle,,, the Diamonds should be 'quite easy' winners, but you never know in this game :-)
  5. yeah,,, and with more than 1 bike,,, (if the rumours are correct) ;-)
  6. Yeah, but how do you entice the first ant in, do you just tell it that's there's a 'Briggo' lump inside, or get some sugar flavour spray and give it a little squirt first to trick them, haha ;-)
  7. He didn't ask how to do it acurrately, he asked how to find out ;-) If you don't wanna use water, another things you could do is,,, get an old spark plug, bore it out, just like coring an apple ;-),,, fit a balloon to it and, with the engine in the same position BDC (bottom dead centre),,, fit the spark plug and do 1 revolution of the engine,,, the balloon will take the air from the barrel,,, size your balloon against a factory set balloon, and there ye go,,, no need for expensive engine rebuilds :-)
  8. Well, who'd a thought it, we'll done Newcastle :-) wonder why Rosen never took an r/r ???
  9. Make sure piston is 'bottom dead centre', take the spark plug out, get a jug of water and fill the hole,,, tip the bike upside down and collect the water into an 'empty' measuring jug, and see what the volume is,,, if it's more than it should be, you've got em ;-)
  10. is it not ?,,, bugger, nors 'at the races',,, the other thing I like watching, that's just ffffing crap that, bet they put plenty other rubbish on tho :-(
  11. Never seen the show, is it on catch up, or be aired again ???
  12. Could you not go and, watch the SWC on sky go, someone must have it ??? :-)
  13. 'Hard, fair, hard-fair, dirty-hard',,, all down to opinions ;-),,, I agree if Lambert went down, Morris would've gone, but we'll never know ;-) I think Morris was 'firm but fair', not dirty, just one of those things and, no-one was crying or got hurt :-)
  14. Yeah,,, comes across as nothing seems to phase him, just gets on with it, Nick Morris must have give him a fright but just kept on and didn't seem to let it bother him :-)
  15. Looking at it like that, it doesn't look a bad idea and, we could be on sky every week :-)
  16. spot on post, but as you say, a lot of punters go, because they always have,,, so maybe some of the blame should lie with them !!! they should bring their families along, kicking and screaming, if they have to... and if the crowd goes, what's the point of sponsors advertising ??? ;-)
  17. Most races over by bend 2, wouldn't say it was entertaining and didn't look like anyone could do much passing (especially if they were behind Olly Greenwood),,, Steve looked slow, I would've chucked Covatti in ht 15, or is that allowed ???,,, once he got going and gated, he looked a safe bet to win, good guest :-),,, oh, well done to 'The Evil Twin' on his return ;-)
  18. yeah,,, maybe time to batten down the hatches, as a precaution :-( dunno where Tero is, but I hope it's a good hiding place ;-)
  19. Yeah, Nico done ok last time at Brough, good choice and can take 1 of Christians rides,,, let's hope Simon and Lewis R are at the races ;-)
  20. sure it wasn't at 'speed' way,,, probly just wanted to get in free ;-)
  21. Looks like the lads were in it till ht 13,,, still in it for now, but more on the sick bed :-(
