  1. A think the track used to be 330 mts, now 300 mts. So am thinking the length that was lost was by bringing the bends in towards the centre green.
  2. Does it need to be dug out completely and/or will it be part of/still joined to the track base? Could it not be nibbled away at with a grinder or two to take the ridges away and taken down to a smoothish level?
  3. Most landline calls are free now, as long as you don't go over the hour.
  4. Must say, a likened it to the Cheddar Gorge and it's not good. Looks like it's the old kerb foundation, the track must've been altered many years ago so how come it's only came to light recently,,, its obvious that someone must have known it was there. For it go for many years without notice is surprising. A cynic might think someone is out to get him? It's there now and needs fixing, any idea of how it can be done?
  5. Oh aye, that was only up until last year, forgot about that one, cheers.
  6. Jeesis,,, ye still banging on about that??? Obviously last week everything was bad, even the referee, but still no complaints about the overpriced holiday camp lager from any of your lot!!! Also, a think our only available days were/are Sunday or Monday. So Monday option would be PL only and might have staffing problems although a think it could possibly be used as an off night if needed be.
  7. The referee's verdict is final, so might aswell wait for the referee's call,,, cos anything else might be what you think you had seen?
  8. Not sure if there is a long queue of 7 point riders looking for a start?
  9. Why not just shake on a tenna between the two of you's (not ewes),,, and set a time limit on it?
  10. If Newcastle are 3 points below the build limit and replace a 4 averaged rider,,, would it not leave 7 points to replace them with?,,, so surely bringing someone on a 3.5 ave would be frowned upon?
  11. Yeah, but wouldn't that be like hindering the progress of someone who might improve and replacing them with someone that wont?
  12. It's a pity they couldn't put the match back a bit, so that folk could go to speedway then watch the footy later,,, or they could tape it and no-one tell them the score, a mean the telly is available 24/7 these days!!!
  13. Valid point,,, but IAF where are they gonna get other no.1's without shafting other team members? If any are available!
  14. As suppose it wouldn't be too bad if we could get a 'Jason Lemon' type guest for home fixtures. Although its unfortunate we don't have a fit no.1,,, fortunately due to BWD's average situation we should be able to utilise that 8+ave. Think it'll be a while before any of the others lads will surpass that figure. No disrespect to them tho.
  15. Maybe it was the pits area that was rendered unsafe, don't want anyone tripping over them toys or slipping on the spilt milk?
  16. So,,, on one hand your prepared to ride with broken bones, but on the other hand your not prepared to ride incase you hurt the other hand?
  17. Like a said earlier, a was surprised Harris didn't get the verdict,,, and a didn't have me glasses on. There was a quite important attendee there, that witnessed the barrage of abuse aimed at the referee following the decision from one or two or even more Berwick fans. A did apologise about the 'drinking' comment, but there's no harm in getting a new prescription, a think specsavers do hearing aids too!
  18. R ok, a do apologise,,, new prescription it is then, especially if ya driving?
