Its ok saying 'slow things down', but racers will still want to go faster and, they'll find a way to do it,,, -
Too Many Clubs?
ruffdiamond replied to Christopher Bcmma Cook's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
If weather permitted, I would like speedway to run each week, all year,,, if it only ran 5 or 6 times a season I would probably find something else to do on a Sunday,,, don't think I could do the travelling far to watch speedway elsewhere, can do say Berwick, or Redcar, but other than that I'd struggle to get elsewhere on a regular basis,,, a suppose everyone's personal circumstance's are different, but thats just mine -

A good 'all round' performance, some cracking finishes and dubious results,,, expected a bit more from Ricky Wells tho, on his Brough form so far this season, some cracking rides from the 'frying pan' later on -

some people might hold the same view regarding that incident also,,, -
actually,,, it would probably be quite interesting to some,,,and as you said earlier, Robert will be 18 soon,,, he might decide that he might like a beer when he's old enough,,, or have a go on the lottery, have a bet in the 'National', or he might even decide to vote, lol
-
Yeah,,, there's an old saying, 'never work with your family, and definitely never lend them owt'
-
Robert is not bigger than British Speedway, but he probably the biggest single thing in it
-
arr, sorry,,, I was getting a bit ambitious
-
What about Plymouth away, Edinburgh home and away, and the KOcup final, of course
-
we could still sign him and, use a guest for him with a higher average,,, therefore not having to meet his wage demands, unless we want to, everyones a winner
-
Apparently so,,,
-
thats exactly what I was thinking,,, might win us the KOcup
-
Dunno if its just me, but,,, there was an open meeting at Glasgow running and there may have been a chance that it was posponed and they may have been an opportunity of another guest had that been the case. Crazy Carl done a good job and, if it hadn't have been for his 3rd ride mis-hap would've scored 10 from 4 rides, so well done Carl, he's doing ok and he might be one to look at next season,,, seemed hard work early last night, but that might have been something to do with 'the enigma' Tommy Gun having such a good meeting, oh and Rob Branford (dunno where he found that form from),,, Happy nights work and cracking ht 14, in which Anton defo got 2nd
