  1. Well, let's just hope the inherited problem can be put right/fixed/mended for the future of the club,,, not sure play-doh and sticky back plastic is the answer tho. Anyone know a stonemason?
  2. Yeah, am well aware of the constraints placed upon the promotion to actually get a meeting on.
  3. So that begs the question,,, what was used in the root canal filling and was the guys told/advised on how to look after it?,,, would a good sticky strong toothpaste work.
  4. Hasn't there been a problem with standing water/drainage on that area of the track and wasn't it to be investigated further?,,, maybe the Grace St canal had became blocked (with shale). It's a poisoned chalice.
  5. 'Perfectly',,, so by looks of it, the old kerb stones were lifted out of they're foundations and filled in with shale. If you see that as 'perfect' then so be it. What's that saying about putting lipstick on a pig? Suppose its akin to having a tooth filled, the filling won't last forever and will eventually come out and am sure the dentist knows that, it's a root problem. As far as finger pointing and so on, its not good,,, but there seems to be many ready with they're knives out to stick them in. Maybe some bad blood around?
  6. Aye but Dave,,, ye cannot just keep painting over it. If it was nice and smooth from the beginning, you wouldn't need so much shale to keep filling the Cheddar Gorge, could've saved a fortune on shale over the decades.
  7. Can't really blame the current promotion for a shoddy job done in the past, sometimes you need to get to the bottom of it,,, not the wall, the problem!
  8. That's a bit crass? Can't blame Newcastle for making the rules. Am sure Poole have utilized the rules in the past, and will do in the future.
  9. Aye, could always extend Segedugum or whatever its called?
  10. Never a good job to just paper over the cracks,,, good prep is always the way forward. Back in the day a suppose there wasn't much thought for the future tho and corner cutting was possibly more likely to go on, maybe cutting bends in this case?
  11. Which is something that could've should've been addressed at the time when the track was altered,,, many moons ago?
  12. Hindsight's marvellous,,, imagine if they had 'checkatrade.com' back in the day eh?
  13. All changed now tho mate, its 24/7/365 no rest for the wicked n that!!!,,, bet you still half-day Wednesday and Early Doors Friday?
  14. Thanks Dave,,, so if the kerb stones are still there, they could be put back in they're original setting and the track would be back to the way it was in the (g)olden days?
  15. Got no idea how easy it is, am frightened of the sky remote!!!,,, a think some stuff is relayed at the stadium, but there's no way of knowing how many actually listen to what is said and comprehend it. Possibly many of them playing with tha phones on social media at the time, already, yesterday, sick?
  16. Problem is, there is so many different platforms out there,,, suppose its akin to choosing you preferred energy supplier, decisions decisions decisions!!!,,, too many sweets to choose from?
  17. Well yeah sort of, but its the pony express version.
  18. A Russian one? He might carry that gesture on till a later fixture?
