  1. yeah, a wouldn't expect to see him at Newcastle, or Howarth either but a team made up of, Cook, Howarth, Newman, Rose, Morris, Bewley and a decent 3 pointer, would look attractive to many,,,
  2. a think Ashley was dispersed of a few days later, but he was told beforehand
  3. exactly,,, what happened during the interval at the Newcastle match, was despicable !!! IMO
  4. its not often I agree with you, but do there,,, dunno how some don't see it, there's not one person that i've spoke to thats seen him ride say otherwise,,,,
  5. haha,,, could swap one of them for a turnip maybe
  6. Couldn't really expect much more, well done Glasgow for winning something,,, the tie was lost last night Dissappointing end to the season that showed such promise, hopefully we can put a good side together for next year,,,
  7. how about; 1, C Cook 9.88 2, A Morris 4.83 3, K Newman 6.31 4, L Rose 5.86 5, L Lindgren 7.65 6, D Bewley 4.00 7, 3.00 well in below 42.50, but plenty potential ?
  8. a no Dave, a seen ye,,, your post read like a bit of a rant, so were you still 'on one' and a no Kerr rides for Scunny, the 'guest' situation is so ambiguous tho,,, making comprehension of the rules difficult.
  9. not much, the rules change all the time, so maybe that one has/had. were you aware of the rule change that allowed Lewis Kerr to ride for Scunny one week, then a week later guest for Sheffield at Newcastle ? or infact the rule that allowed you to replace a rider in heat 15, after breaking the tapes, with a better rider ? the bloke who invented heat 15 probly couldn't understand that one, nevermind a newcomer,,,
  10. ACC,,, Bates might have been a good choice, but it was said on here t'other week, that the 'guest 7 or 8 day rule' wasn't in force now, (remember Kerr a few weeks back),,, maybe with Bates having a final to be in, in the next couple of days, made it un-viable ?
  11. someone mentioned that Kus was concussed, so that would rule him out, and r/r doesn't look particularly strong
  12. are you still 'on one' Dave ? would have to say NO to BOTH,,, Victor has looked poor at home recently, after some really nice performances,,, when he missed the gate he would often chop straight to the inside and usually gain an advantage but that seems to have been missing of late,,, Tero, have nothing against him and think he done a great job for us, but unfortunately, his career has been blighted by injuries and they take there toll and may lead to further injuries occurring, so from a long term solution, he's a bit risky IMO
  13. your probly right, but from 3 heat advantages Newcastle held before having a rider fall, the re-runs went the way of Glasgow. a no its ifs and buts and was Newcastle riders that fell, but even a 2 or 3 pt swing would have given us a lead. Can't see you's losing it now, its just a shame of 2 teams with so much promise all season, 1 will end up with nowt it does in EL, doesn't it ?
  14. got to agree regarding Palovaara, he has been woeful for a few meeting's now,,, and Phillips was Phillips Lindgren done ok, only dropping points to Summers and R Worrall, but hats off again to Ashley Morris, well beaten up in his 1st ride, rode his socks off then bounced back from that crash. Lambert was class, apart from one race, when it looked like Vic held him up a bit. S Worrall had 1 stinka. Glasgow didn't look that good, so maybe there's hope t'morro, but probly not enough,,,
