  1. you could be right,,, maybe someone will come up with a couple of strong reserves. a think 'last time' there was a huge difference between the leagues also.
  2. thats where the shrewd management/team building come's into it
  3. did he not spend a long while out injured ?,,, maybe that has something to do with it,,,
  4. How about Howarth, always one i've rated and maybe, after his last performance at Brough has finally got to grips with it ?
  5. a dunno,,, well, obviously they didn't throw the key away, so surely he can't be that bad,,, or can he ??? maybe he is just misunderstood and, everyone deserves another chance,,, or has he used all his up ?
  6. all decent speedway riders need to be a 'bit' mental,,, but is this a case of 'should be locked up' mental ???
  7. of course,,, cos we need to leave room for 'Ruthless'
  8. is there not some rule which only allows riders that ride in Poland, to ride in 2 leagues or summit ?
  9. yeah, good luck to him, never let us down,,, does that mean he is out of our plans ?
  10. Could go with Lambert, Worrall, Lindgren, Kus, a 3 pointer and 2 x 2 pointers, bit like 1983 and we won everthing, well nearly
  11. you're an excellent counter Dave,,, must be all that money you've got
  12. didn't know that, thats a shame swap Holub and Aarnio, for Simon Neilsen and Rosen
  13. 1. L Lindgren 7.65 2. M Kus 7.55 3. R Bach 7.32 4. T Aarnio 6.24 5. V Palavaaro 5.80 6. Z Holub 3.00 7. ??? 2.00 39.56 good chance of the real 'plastic' wooden spoon, but it fits
  14. if we want to keep one of Lambert or Worrall,,, Kus or Lindgren would have to go, or the tail would be very long. Could maybe have 3 x 7 pointers at the top, but lacking a big hitting no.1 home and away wouldn't please everyone The new 40pt limit might only allow 1 big hitter
  15. no,,, too risky, he's had more sick notes than Jonathan Woodgate, lol (no offence intended)
  16. no, I didn't mean 'old' rider, I meant 'old' EL
  17. agree, probly not much change, but what about bringing in an 'old' EL rider on a converted ave ???
  18. I thought he scored 15 also,,, he maybe felt disillusioned with the promotion and accidentally dropped his bike on his leg
  19. but surely Branford and Roynon etc are over 21 but that never happened,,,
