if you only have 1/2 lap races, would you not need a additional finish line and for it to be manned, or even another referee to call the finish ? This would all add to the cost of running a meeting and in the long term might not be good for speedway
-
there's a U21 meeting on that day also, dunno if that has any implications,,, but with more clubs riding on Sundays this season, maybe they need to get the fixtures in. A dunno if clubs have the right to use that Sunday as 'speedways bank holiday',,, but nevermind, it might rain

I was of the same opinion until Friday last,,, the plumber arrived at my abode at 3pm to investigate a leaking pipe, to be repaired it required 3 elbows, an isolation valve, a tee peice and a straight coupling (all compression fittings),,, the guy finished at 3.30pm (on a Friday),,, yet he still managed to complete the job AND fix the 'stop cock' that didn't actually 'stop',,, he never put all the stuff back into the cupboard, but fair play to him anyway just goes to show, that after so long of having an opinion on 'the coucil', something comes along and changes it, thumbs up,,, -

and 20 Woodbine and a selection of crisps,,, plain, or ready salted -
but, with say 20/25 little widdles, could make a pool am sure they same amount of 'llama days', would end up as a field of llama's

there'll be a few clubs in the same boat, got you by the balls,,, not sure if stadium owner's make much from speedway, but without speedway they might feel it,,, but suppose thats walking on thin ice
-
yeah, many clubs have the same problems,,, and a dunno how far down the pecking order the speedway is, I would hazzard a guess at nearer the bottom ,,, but if speedway had more 'indyins' following it, it might have more 'clout'.if there was an opportunity of land for your own circuit, would it offer, on a whole, as a venue what the Showground does ?

sounds a bit like the 'too many chiefs' scenario,,,

could you not use sand, or something similar ??? instead of water, put saline solution in and if the 'unfortunate' happens, it would be of use using saline might be costly, but sea water might work, and you could grab some free sand while your'e there...

there may be even a change before any wheels are turned Newcastle Lambert - to up his average and probably show 'Cookie' the way round Brough, the kid oozes class. Morris - hopefully has found a home, fans favourite. Rose - stuck around a while now, usually has an unexpected end to a season, but full value for effort . Lindgren - (marmite) - entertainment, or sport ???, legend. Worrall - the 'talisman'' ,,, great to see the lad moved on from a while back, will be pushing Lambert along the way. (Tom Owen type). Phillips - the faith is there. Coles - maybe a real find, judging by Bob and co. track 'clevercloggs' -
