  1. it might work being able to cover the track on the morning of the meeting, but at Newcastle if there has been any rain previously, it'll most likely still be there,,, as the drainage aint any good
  2. Dandelion, Lightning averages far more than Rose or Morris away from home, so that surely tells you that they are better
  3. For covers to work well, would adequate drainage be needed ?
  4. heard on the grapevine that, The Glasgow 'results at all costs' Tigers are to have a opening/closing roof type cover installed,,,, the guy from Nationwide sun awnings reckons, its one of the biggest they've ever done
  5. thats's far too sensible, they'll just put it down to 'general wear and tear'
  6. no, not at all,,, wether or not the ref had a stinker and excluded the wrong rider (I don't know), but its a decision that most likely wont be changed. Therefore, awarding the result makes sense. and its nothing to do with rivalry.
  7. how long is a piece of string ??? I don't disagree with Glasgow getting 4 pts, sense prevailled,,, but common and speedway don't/won't.
  8. 'Lightnings' been around that long, people might start calling him Joan
  9. am sure when we signed Danny King and Dan Greenwood, the combined total was above 42.50 (43.63),,, maybe this was due to 'rain offs' at the time and looking odd, or maybe took into account Danny Kings ridiculously high converted average (11.18),,, a dunno
  10. what you do is,,, show some initiative and cut the time and labour down, but we don't want the little doggies having a bleed but it seems that Robert and Steve's average has changed after 4 days (8th then 12th), before they've actually come into effect, fffs
  11. ok, thats good,,,, al leave me jetski at home then
  12. why,,, are Berwicks '10 a penny' track covers not so good ???
  13. most definitely,,, in fact, its rumoured that its even in Mr Vatchers rule book that 'no meeting at Newcastle can be declared, for whatever reason, until the Elliot report has been completed'
  14. I don't think they'll get a draw either, maybe a point tho. plenty moisture in the track this week,,, maybe a bit too much
  15. you only need to no your 4 and 6 timestables, they usually can't even be bothered to get 1's or 2's cos they've gotta run about a bit.
  16. totally different sports, you needs balls to play cricket
  17. yeah, but am sure you'll have it back shortly
  18. I hope no-one stubbs their toe on the revolving door chock
