  1. is that bit sorted out yet,,,, question now, 'is it grim or not' ?
  2. thats a shame really, it lowers the tone of a half decent shire
  3. don't suppose it'll matter if Robert is there or not, we'll probly get turned over anyway.
  4. yeah, but the poor lad didn't get to earn any points money yesterday,,, so the silly rules have maybe cost him a decent wage,,, maybe the rest of the lads might chuck their r/r earnings his way, it would be a nice gesture.
  5. Did enjoy the meeting and what an end, was as if we won the league, excellent ht15, but Bens 1 point was priceless What ever happened to the 72 hr team declaration thing ?
  6. but Lambert didn't give priority to Poland, he was forced into it, under duress,,, but your right and we can all laugh about it now.
  7. Newcastle win because it had been raining in Poland,,, ffffing bonkers. after snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, ht15 was one for the collection, it was as if they had won the league. Bens solitary point made the difference IMO.
  8. well, am saying 'upto now',,, can't see any on the website or SGB site, but haven't checked the ISLB site (if they have one)
  9. thats good to see him get a chance. Apart from tonight and next Saturday at Worky,,, it appears that Newcastle don't, upto now have anymore fixtures organised, although we still have 3 at home and 1 away in the league, plus a cup-tie with Glasgow to run. Will any of these fixtures play 'second fiddle' to any riders availability elsewhere ?,,, just wondering.
  10. You would think that arranging fixtures with your nearest and dearest would be easy, but the original running and this one seems to have proved very problematic. is this the re-arranged fixture, or the one that hadn't been arranged ?
  11. so basically,,, Lambert was already booked to ride in Poland and has to stand by his comittments, so Newcastle arranged the fixture already knowing this, so I don't understand how they 'have been dealt a severe blow ahead of Sunday's Derby clash with Redcar'.The authorities have no say over the matter, so why/how could they have tried to assist ? is there any more fixtures to be arranged where this scenario will occur ?
  12. if that is the reason, I would be happy with it and don't have a problem with Lambert riding in a important match, so why wasn't that said ? Good luck Robert and your Polish team and hope you make a packet.
  13. I understand that he has been told to ride in Poland, but by whom ?,,, if he was, say a Pole, that sort of makes sense, (a bit like when Lindgren has to ride in Sweden, we get NL guest).but how is an authority from outside Britain allowed to pull rank over British authorities over British riders ? Oh !!! I forgot, this is the UK I'm inclined to agree with 'Bellers' on this one.
  14. a think you have to take the rough with the smooth and think about it before purchasing a season ticket,,, and what if there was some season ticket holders that didn't attend, but tried to claim a rebate ?
  15. Dave, you got any fishing wire to set a trap ?
  16. as a season ticket holder, you have already paid for the matches so any abandoned matches could be classed as extras
  17. are you suggesting we cheat, or 'stage' an accident,,, ffffing barmy, but brilliant plan
  18. Yeah, its a bit like the 'ghost train', the further you go in, the scarier it gets.
  19. Surely tho,,, if the British authorities had 'tried' to assist and failed, they could have at least granted a facility.
