Tom Perry & Max Clegg have both had a real confidence boosting week, experience at Lakeside on Friday, matching Eastbourne's reserves scoring on Saturday, great performances & race wins at Leicester on Sunday and only 1 race out of 9 between them without a win or paid win in their great performances at Cradley last night and both gating much more consistently too in past couple of meetings I hear. Credit to them both

Reading the rulebook online , nothing has changed re the AWARDING of bonus points for 3rd behind 2nd , other than that the rider in 3rd no longer gets paid for it

Haven't been on here for ages but good to see nothin changes with talk about everything except the results Leicester get. Can you imagine football fans going on about anything else other than results and discussing toilets not Goals? Most of you seem to only want every track in country to be circles with no straights. There were as many and maybe more overtakes at Leicester on Saturday than at Scunthorpe (one of your circle tracks) on Friday. I never saw Hall, Stead, Niemenen, Bjerre, Wells, Blackbird etc etc ''scrubbing lots of speed off'' as they went round bends 3 and 4, with for example Hall overtaking both Doolan and Nielsen together round the outside, Wells, Bjerre and Niemenen making passes round outside too, and on the same bend Niemenen, Graversen for example making passes on the inside by keeping tight to the kerb coming out Bend 4, showing that there are clearly 2 passing lines and different ways of riding on Bends 3 and 4 now even in rubbish weather for Track Curators. Observations and discussion points so far - The Team have had a good start to the season, We have lost Roynon with the bad crash, Will we sign a replacement until Roynon is fit? How great to see Lewis score so many points! We have no makeweight riders this year. So how about discussing the topic subject 'Leicester v Sheffield' and how the Team are doing , like nearly all other Teams fans do on their Forums pages and how Fans of Teams in every other sport do?

Needs to be a good 4th rider for the Swedish Select to make them competitive

At least not a dust bowl like Rye. LOL And RS averaged even less for Glasgow than he did for Leicester and all his lowest scores for Leicester were AWAY not at Beaumont Park!

Not as much as Glasgow did to him after all, his average was even lower for them than for Leicester!

.....so what if there are a few Testimonials each year... If they get good fields and put on a top quality meeting for the fans and the Promoters are good enough to let them happen, then the more the merrier!! When else would Leicester have had a chance of welcoming a 3 Time World Champion and other top stars???? Certainly not in 2012!!!
