  1. This is a message Luke Chessell has asked me to post regarding his bike situation. "Hi this is from Luke Chessell, I am only going to state facts and don't wish to be drawn Into any argument, I raced Friday and Saturday at Somerset and Plymouth my 1st bike lost all compression during my 1st race so I jumped on my second bike and road that which at the end of the meeting when draining the oil there was lots of metal in my oil which is not common. Which left me no choice other than to pull out of the meeting with great regret. No bikes or engines was offered to me from Mildenhall. Thanks Luke" Luke is a declared rider, you don't declare your spectators. I think your all a bit harsh, the lads trying his best on a budget and needs more that a few hours to get his resources together after what sounds like a very expensive weekend. Maybe some useful comments offering to help would be more beneficial Luke is a declared rider, you don't declare your spectators. 2. I fail to see how sticking within the rules is win at all costs, Take the teams out of it and take a look and I'm sure sure you'll see sense without the rose coloured glasses or obvious hatred towards Cradley
  3. u obviously know very little of how speedway is run from the pits, and prove thus in your idiotic comments. Ashley is one of the nicest fairest racers, who doesn't feel the need to use his elbow to knock his opponents down. Where as steffan obviously does, and who can blame Ashley for being just a little angry. It was clear steffan used his elbow from the 1st bend stand, causing contact knocking him off. Ash never punched anyone, he was pushed away to his pit area to leave the rest to squabble. But obviously u know much more than the riders themselfs -
  4. Adam Kirby is no. 4 for heathens as far as I've heard
  5. National league racing is competitive you won't be disappointed. Even with no Perry and Adam Kirby in the team, I don't think the Heathens are out of it, and with the fantastic team spirit we can do this. Come on the Heathens
  6. Adam and Byron both want to be there for the final racing. Adam is riding this weekend for Workington so be interesting to see how he gets on
  7. Its all presumptions at the moment but the 19th is reserved for Somerset play-off final, so wouldn't it just be done all all innocent lol, if the final was Somerset-Workington. Don't really matter what competition it is reserved for both teams should be at full strength. As they say you gota beat the best to be the best. Tom Perry Rides for Somerset a Friday track and Ashley Morris rides for Workington a Saturday track
  8. All i can say on the matter is If Mildenhall management want to try and manipulate the fixtures in such a sly underhand way, (then stand back and say what we don't know what you mean our stadium has no available dates), Just goes to show what a lack of faith the Mildenhall promotion have of their team that they seem so petrified of facing a full strength Dudley. Our management backed down last time against our fans wishes. Mr Lee went on record last time saying " Mildenhall race on a Sunday at 4.30 and will do so". Why is it Sunday fixtures haven't been reserved for the playoffs, bad planning, uncooperative stadium owners or just a good excuse, to get a understrength team. I'm not fussed what day its raced on but i want to see my team at full strength against a full strength opposition. Whether they win or loose i will support my team knowing they gave it their all. I don't think that's too much to ask. Knock Dudley/Cradley all you want but we have a club rich in History, Honours as long as your arm, World champions, League Honours, Cup Honours, Well supported, Good Management, rarely to you see a rider who has rode in our colours have anything bad to say about us. Erik Gundersen summed it up last month, he said "i've come home", We love our club and were proud of it, we may not always go about it in the right way, but when the passion dies so will the club and its alive and kicking
  9. Chris Harris couldn't fit all our remaining fixtures in do we thought, we'd give Joe a chance. Lol. We can't help it that riders actually want to ride for us regardless of the league, we have the crowds to compete any level (just no stadium). I think only Mildenhall came close in the NL. Were too big for the NL, its simply not enough to compete we want to win, and if that don't sit well with fans from other teams then so be it. I find the finger pointing at Dudley more amusing everytime I read a coment on here. U insult us, knock our riders, our fans, our management, but it don't change anything. Cuz we are top of the league
  10. 38-53 to Dudley, hope Buxton are ready for round 2 tomorrow
  11. Think ppl need to get calm down it was a heat of the moment reaction, Im sure Kerr will get worse in his racing career. It's all light hearted banter, it may only just be a development league to Kings Lynn, but its all us Heathens have, so if we take it seriously then so be it, there will be no apology for that.I think Kings Lynn is a fab place to visit, were always makes to feel welcome. Keep up the good work.
  12. No Fan booed to a rider falling, the boos were to rider falling getting up looking at the race order then blatantly falling to his knees to get the race re-started. And no Kings Lynn supporter can deny this it was so obvious. Especially with a birds eye view from the 1st bend.
  13. No wonder speedways such a Joke if everyone's so flippant about the little things. I'm not hung up on the subject to pm just wanted a answer from the person in charge. And the silly replies of bring your own food and your there to watch the racing are not really constructive. If you'd have replied Jayne and said 'look we don't do the food, but yes it doesn't look good, I will have a word' and apologized that's fine. End of the matter. I know Buxton don't get much support (and that aint a dig), but its still poor. U cant knock Monmore Green facilities Jayne and its a bit of a cheap dig to say the FOODS not to everyone's taste (key word being food and not running out by heat one). Bored of this now it was days ago
  14. So what about the food Jayne, what happened, as its not a one off is it.
  15. So its a good set as Dudley pay the rent to Labrooks just like Wolves, we both rent, yet we get bigger crowds. CVS is a life long Cradley Fan, just like the rest of our managerial team which helps
  16. The only credit we give ourselves is what we deserve, we are a big supported club in a little league, so we stand out. As fans were very passionate about our team, were used to world champions and its hard to take a step back and why should we. Do you not agree Dudley have a professional set up?, as for the foul mouthed fan then I'm afraid every team had a few of them but most of us have a few brain cells and know words with more than two syllables.
  17. It was sent from mobile don't know why it repeated. Its not really the issue if the burger lady follows the speedway or not (Buxton management know Dudley fans don't follow in 2's and 3's, so they inform the lady), if there's a service to be provided then there should be no excuses. Some of had a distance to travel and would have been nice to have some food available, if she has a prior commitment then maybe as i said the catering arrangements need to be revised. If the basic amenities can't be provided that what chance has the rest to follow. It's not as the food would be wasted there's normally a freezer on these vans. Not really good enough is it Neil H, and not a one off. I went at the start of heat 1 and there was nothing there.
  18. Sorry but theres isn't norrmally such a delay at tracks with a proffessional set up, most tracks have two ambulances ready, and first aid staff trained to deal with emergencies.if it was life or death and took over 30mins to get them off the track, the results dont ate in unthinkable. I'm so glad dudley are so professionally run and we dont have experience what stoke fans do on a weekly basis. Very poor crowd sat aswell, take the Dudley fans away and how on earth do stoke make any profit
  19. I think Buxton need to revise their catering, the food normally runs out when Dudley are there (she's not used to a crowd) but to run out by heat one is not acceptable. Surely there is a fridge in these catering vans and it makes bussiness sense to come prepared, and to read the fixtures list might be a good idea. Poor turn out of Dudley fans Yesterday and still by heat one theses nothing left I think Buxton need to revise their catering, the food normally runs out when Dudley are there (she's not used to a crowd) but to run out by heat one is not acceptable. 20. How about Jon Armstrong, good captain and always goes well round Buxton
  21. Wont make a fat lot of difference either way
  22. What's your declared team sat then Malcolm, and what's the total averages of that team.
  23. It aint rained as much as last tue and that was on
