  1. 100% agree no Doolan next season for gods sake, he is a spent force and going nowhere! 100% agree but Im afraid cannot see it happening sky will not allow it and what sky wants sky get! No Witches did not qualify the reason for that is we do not have any heatleaders!
  2. I do remember the old 13 heat format very well and in my opinion it was alot better than the present format. I would go back to that and also the old tactical ride format of any rider can replace another rider during the meeting but perhaps after being 8 points down instead of the old 6 points. Add to that 13 heat format with a compulsory champion of the evening with 3 heats winner to final plus fastest 2nd and add all the points got from the final and have a champion of the evening championship at end of season with a cup. Be also nice to go back to having a best of 3 heats for the silver helmet during the season. Suppose none of these ideas will come to fruition but it is a case of "The good old days" are the best.
  3. RIP John Berry you were the greatest promoter ever by a huge margin at Ipswich and deserve all the plaudits you have received. My sincere condolence's to all his family, Aljack.
  4. So we had all of Nov and Dec to sign him Im sure made the right offer he would have signed for the Witches a track he loves. So like I said previously should have signed Masters and Morris
  5. Tell me when did Nick Morris sign for Swindon???
  6. Yes along with Nick Morris but we all know how louis reacts dont we to chance, thats it like a snail
  7. Totally agree "tenyearsafter" why bother at all if louis is only putting on this pathetic excuse as a tribute to a great great man in John Berry. As I say its just a date filler sad indeed!!!
  8. Certainly an interesting thought but my guess is louis will do nothing to strengthen the top end as always. Its never ever been the louis way to make unforced changes and us fans are used to no ambition at foxhall. Which is such a crying shame as theres lots of fans out there who do not go any more that are just forever waiting for a team capable of winning something after 14 barren years. I have plenty of time for Sam Masters and he would make a great signing with next season in mind and especially if a genuine no1 was added to make a potent top 2.
  9. And what will Kings Lynn national league side win??? thats it naff all. I agree Rohan is the best suited rider in the team to ride at one as not alot seems to phase him but hardly fair on the young lad with such little experience. Yes lets hope the move to I suspect two in the team for Taylor will gain him his confidence back gradually. I think its a bl**dy shame that Taylor was thrown into the deep end at one when coming back from a nasty injury just due to the experienced riders in the team not doing their job. I hope there are numerous changes next season and the riders who let the team and the fans down are weeded out for good.
  10. If indeed these averages are correct the Witches still have a no1 rider with less than a 7 point average Suppose one day well just perhaps louis will realise a true no1 is needed with at least a 8.5 average to bring success. Riding order for these 7 is pretty immaterial as all 7 are much the same and will win naff all anyway. Already a top 6 place looks out of sight and has turned into yet another dud season under louis to add to the last 13 years. Oh I forgot we won the 4s egg cup last season
  11. Well there you go baldyman was he or just the cheap option as I suspect. Yes Taylor could well be at reserve next month but who will be at no1 my guess Rohan or even Morten just goes to show how weak the Witches are without genuine heatleaders. Also I give my best wishes to Glasgow in their fight to survive but what went wrong?
  12. Certainly just look at the points column, how many points did he get oh yes "0" so perhaps I know more than you give me credit for but who cares I dont if you agree or not
  13. Taylor has an average of 6.90 on coming back from injury and due to the experienced riders in the Witches team totally underperforming he found himself at no1. Taylor is a super lad who listens to advice and has a great future but a no1 he aint and should never have found himself there its a disgrace and his form has suffered accordingly. Or tommy no-hope
  14. The "For Sale" sign at Ashfield Stadium sounds a big worry and will put a depressive feel to the rest of the season and my thoughts are with you Glasgow fans and hope all ends up ok. As to the result suppose thats secondary to Glasgows future but I expect Glasgow to win as the Witches team looks totally lop-sided to me with riders riding out of position and another cheap guest.
  15. What do you mean Rye House??? Sam old same old
  16. What a team to represent the best in British speedway and look at that attendance behind them in the old "chicken run" Wow!!! they were the days when Foxhall had the top meetings and top riders every week and add to that a wonderful promoter RIP John. Now what have we got? Well we have 2nd class speedway with gates under 1,000 and a promoter who do everything on the cheap
  17. This meeting is a disgrace to be called a Tribute to the great man John Berry!!! Riding Rye House for the umpteenth time this season is really only a date filler on the cheap and any fan who is a realist will recognise that fact. So whereas all those who remember John as the greatest promoter ever and would have loved a true tribute meeting with star riders to support him and show their appreciation in what he has done for Ipswich Witches, will not attend now. Its sad indeed that louis is taking the micky out of the Witches fans yet again and using a great mans name to do it - disgusting
  18. Very sensible posting glad you agree with my sentiments about this pathetic meeting using the great name of John Berry just to try and attract fans to a meeting supposedly in his honour but in all honesty just another challenge against Witches nearest opponents in the premier league for cheapness sake to fill a date. Im not being disrespectful to John Berry's name in the slightest but this pathetic excuse for a meeting in his honour certainly is, in fact its a damned insult to his good name.
  19. Why not a meeting with a bit of imagination put into it like Witches v A Select Elite League or an Individual with Elite League riders taking part especially as its the British GP 2 days later ?????? No its Rye House YET again whoopeedah :icon_smile_clown: Just read the LIMP excuse thats being used by louis why its Rye House YET again - Pathetic
  20. Oh my god!!! that sounds exciting Rye House yet again - NOT!!!
  21. So you also noticed then seanmuffe lol Love is so transparent its so so comical but let the poor lamb have his own way otherwise diddums will have sulkies
  22. Yes I quite agree sometimes we would make the grannies look quick..............
  23. Come on Baldyman louis only charging £5 entry for ANY meeting is NOT going to happen . Even if we had an old grannies race in their wheelchairs the entry fee would be £15.50
