  1. "Average manipulation" tut tut baldyman what a thing to suggest you naughty man lol Knowing how the Witches are run, I would think theres not a hope in h*ll of that happening.
  2. Well I did predict the Witches would not make the play-offs 3 months ago, so where are the snipers now??? You see they are all too willing to mock but when Ive been proved right yet again they have all disappeared. Witches lack of top end strength was always going to make qualification impossible and all us realists realised that fact but those wearing rose coloured glasses thought otherwise and just live in cloud cuckoo land
  3. Come on my good fellow its been happening ever since speedway began.
  4. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  5. After our struggle to win by 7 points and get all 3 points last night I can only see a defeat for the Witches tonight. That will end any lingering hopes of a top 6 place but honestly has that ever been in doubt! Witches weakness at the top end ended any real hopes before the season started.
  6. Well theres a thought baldyman Lanham for next season lol Yes agree Morten and Taylor together is not working and I would move Taylor back to 2 and move Dak to 3 or 4. Remains to be seen what changes there are for next season but I personally hope there are many built around our young Aussies.
  7. Thought this was one of the better meetings this season with a fair amount of passing and never knowing the result until the final heat as regards how many points the 2 teams were going to get. As usual Witches weakness at the top end was exposed in heats 13 and 15 and nearly cost the team a point but just scrambled and got all the points in the end. Beats me why Tress was not used in heat 12 to replace Nielsen and just added to several baffling decisions by Simmons why Tress only had 4 rides. Edinburgh certainly gave it their all and look certain to take all 3 points when riding the Witches at home.
  8. No mate just a realist who never wear those rose coloured glasses and is not brainwashed
  9. Let me explain "once our beloved Witches" to you. The attendances at foxhall have plummeted in the last few years because of the lack of success for so long and even more since our demise into the premier league took place. All those fans no longer go to foxhall so become "once our beloved Witches" fans. Is all clear now siggytastic
  10. Oh dear! oh dear! seems to me theres a lot of posters out there that have a lot of time on their hands and nothing better to do than make snide remarks! Well the real realist fan will rise above all that garbage and post sensible comments actually about what is happening to our once beloved Witches. I dont care a toss what others think their meaningless postings just end up where they deserve to be in the garbage tin and I will continue to post whatever I feel is to be correct
  11. Yes its your mistake because you said I said 2 OVER 8.5 averaged riders whereas I stated a 9 and a 8.5 nothing about over those averages, ok enough said
  12. Best - Rohan Tungate Worst - nothing being done to strengthen the team when it was needed
  13. I have never said Witches need 2 over 8.5 average riders in the team so please get your statements correct. Team building is all down to guile and knowhow by the management in actually knowing who is available, the great John Berry was a supremo at this and look at the success he had. Skill at manipulation is also whats needed, that 42.50 is a huge total to play with if all these factors are brought into use.
  14. No Ive not changed my opinion on anything lanham is at no1 so he is Witches no1 and he certainly has not ridden like one. Wheres the problem in having 2 top heatleaders with a combined average of 16 ??? This leaves 26.5 for the other 5 riders plenty enough to have a very competitive team in my book and one that if the riders are chosen with skill and know-how could bring success at last to the faithful foxhall dwindling fans.
  15. So this all goes to prove the Witches need a genuine no1 next season something Ive been saying all this season and also this season for success! So far Witches have been devoid of having a genuine no1 for some reason but any fan can see that is whats needed along with my idea of a genuine no2 to head the Witches and inspire the other 5 by actually winning heats. We seem to win less heats than the opposition on numerous occasions and thats down to the Witches very weak top end. Yes but he has been riding nearly all season at no1 so he is the Witches no1, so in effect he is a no1.
  16. Thanks for that info shadders its very much as I had also heard, surely its about time something was done to make it safer for riders to ride tighter tracks. These injuries are doing our great sport and the riders no good at all to put it mildly and its time for change.
  17. True Rye House have had bad luck in abundance but we here at Ipswich have had our share also with Poole and Risager out for a long time and now we have Heeps out for weeks. Seems to me there are more injuries this season than ever before, perhaps its down to the new silencers that most riders seem to hate.
  18. Who knows now lanham is back at no1 he might start riding like a no1 after being there before
  19. Great win by the Witches with a depleted side especially as rye had Doyle as a guest and he has been a thorn in the Witches side many times this season. This young Nielsen looks a good prospect and maybe louis will use him at reserve next season along with Cam who knows.
  20. Ok fair enough as you know we all have opinions on whatever is happening at speedway. As you have only attended once at foxhall this season whereas Ive attended nearly all, I feel I know a little more than you on whats happening at foxhall as your judgements are from afar. Perhaps I am yearning for the brilliant speedway at foxhall during the 70s and 80s we all drooled over and got excited about but that will never be while we stay in the inferior premier league.
  21. Yes and then another team sign him, seem to remember quite a few riders have gone this way. Louis as Ive stated before moves like a snail when it comes to signing riders or replacing under achievers. Just look at this season we still have lanham and tress in the team, if they rode elsewhere they would have been shown the door months ago.
  22. Oh dear that clucking Egg Cup again that nobody else bothered about including me. Its about time it was "Laid to Rest"
  23. Quite honestly nothing wrong with the "REAL DEAL AUSSIES" apart from Doolan, its the other 3 riders in the team who have not achieved whats expected of them. Doolan has been a complete flop and been dropped and Lanhams average has fallen like a stone so he can get a team place elsewhere next season and so its not a problem. Tress has gone backwards this season at a fast rate and Risagers form was so bad he dropped to reserve. None of the other 4 Aussies were expected to fill a heatleaders place and Rohan and Dak have been great and upped their averages along with Cam. Taylor was sadly badly injured in the first meeting and has found it very difficult riding at no1 on his return and who can blame him should have never been expected to fill that position in the first place. So there you go this is why Witches will win nothing this season yet again for the 14th season on the trot under louis.
