Have you ever thought that Doolans lack of form for the Witches might well have been down to the atmosphere at Ipswich. Now he is elsewhere his form has returned as he is now in a happy environment? To drop from an average of almost 9 down to a an average of near 7 at Ipswich that suggests theres something wrong at foxhall does it not?

Just being a realist thats all as always.

Once Taylor Poole and Morten Risager were injured in the first meeting I was advocating that the Witches should sign a genuine no1 - thats ALL season mate!!!

Seen any pigs flying lately? talk of Witches making the play offs is made up of pipe dreams and utter balderdash! Reality has sunk in to Chris Louis that Witches needed a no1 something Ive been saying ALL season and once again been proved right So in reality terms this meeting is just a dud and who cares how many Kevin Doolan scores for Berwick its irrelevant.

A very enjoyable meeting on a very well prepared track well done Bob. Taylors form must be a huge worry for the poor lad and his confidence seems to be rock bottom, I hope for his sake when he goes home he can get some family help to resolve his problems that seem alot in his head. Cannot remember ever a referee putting a rider on 2 minutes when he is lying on the track injured, well done Barbara your a star surely theres something in life you can do thats a long way away from speedway. Well Chris Louis admitting the Witches need a no1 after the season has nearly finished is only saying what Ive been saying ALL season. Well you lot of doubters out there who was ALWAYS right

Its a lovely day here in Suffolk with lots of sun and a pleasant breeze, so it all looks ok for tonight. Should be a good meeting lets hope the track is prepared for exciting racing, think it will be close. Byron Bekker for a guest tonight is a strange choice cannot remember him ever winning any races at Foxhall or scoring well

You totally choose to ignore reality as usual as its hypothetical that the Witches are in a play off position with only 2 meetings left!!! As the team below them have 5 meetings left and are only 1 point behind and its plainly obvious to a realist like myself which you obviously are not that the Witches will be overtaken and finish either 7th or 8th

Ok my reply to that is those 2 competitions are major and are worth winning.

Tell me bash how do you compare the Knock-Out Cup and League Cup with the 4s egg cup??? There is no comparison and IF the Witches win either of these I will be the first to congratulate them. But I did say IF so we will wait and see wont we.

We are all welcome to our opinions and fair play for that but sorry tocha cannot agree with all yours Im afraid. Yes our young Aussies should and will be the future for the Witches Im sure but certainly not the 2 over the hill other riders you suggest in Doolan and Lanham. They both are on the decline in form and age and if the management stick with these 2 riders the chances of success at Ipswich in 2013 is zilch and will be the 15th year with no success apart from an egg cup (the 4s) in 2011.

The trouble is in speedway the rules seem to get changed constantly and its totally impossible to keep up with whats going on. Would it not be great if a set of rules were made at the start of the season by persons without an invested interest in actual teams profits etc and kept to without fail. Might be able to understand them then and who knows we could have more continuity and even perhaps equal teams which could only be good for everybody in speedway.

So what are you saying we do nothing and let the season just jog along and finish nowhere? We all know this is what happens every season but why not try something to just try and change things around. If that means 2 or 3 riders are let go so be it after all theres nothing to lose is there?

Newcastle look to have very good top end strength and a good reserve in Nedermark and with the Witches having nothing to ride for in the league now and with no top end strength at all and god knows who at reserve this looks to be a banana skin for the Witches. The season is just petering out as usual in the league and more or less finishes with this meeting such a shame as a little jiggling about and bringing in a new rider or two (Sam Masters for one) could and would have made all the difference.

Its obvious to any realist, heat 13 ended in a 5 - 1 defeat and that cost the Witches a win as a 5 - 1 heat win would have made it 44 - 46 in Witches favour. Struth its not rocket science that Witches lack of a genuine no1 has cost any chance of reaching the play offs I know exactly how you feel
