Swc Final, Viewing On Internet?
Shortcrust replied to scottrocks's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Don't you have to be subscribed to Sky Sports to do that? Cos I registered but it wouldn't let me view it because I haven't got Sports package no longer. You could try Justin tv, or My P2P on the day, you should probably be able to view the meeting on one or either of those. -

Well i enjoyed it....for me it brought back memories of a packed Saddlebow Road on a Saturday night in the 70's ...the atmosphere was brilliant, the racing was brilliant, the track was prepared well and all in all I think everyone involved with organising the event (apart from Sky who boss people around far too much lol) should be damn proud in what they achieved Monday evening. More of the same please. -

You obviously have never been to a stock car final at King's Lynn to see what kind of crowds they get in the stadium.... that birdcage is there for a reason, its called Health and Safety.... sadly all roads don't lead to Peterborough as far as World Speedway events are concerned as much as you'd like them too! You watch it on your telly, I'm sure noone will even notice you're not there. -

Excellent news, well pleased with that!!! -
This is what i get through Polish to English translation.... Falubaz Zielona Gora on Sunday, winning in 40:38 Torun secured the Polish Team Champion title. Immediately after the match, however, there was a very unpleasant event. In the starring Darcy Ward and Chris Holder. After the game, when fans Falubazu celebrating success, the players went to the track Unibaksu to thank his fans for cheering for the 2009 season. Then from the stands toward the scarf flew torunian teams from the Green Mountains. As if nothing had happened, two Australians - Chris Holder and Darcy Ward trampled scarf lying on the track rival. All registered Polish Television cameras so they could watch the event fans sitting front of the television. Australian speedway riders apparently do not know the basic principles of fair play and can not accept the fact that it was Falubaz them a better team. You must also add that a world-class players would not do pollute a rival club colors. Does that roughly translated mean that Ward and Holder were sore losers??....Hmm, now there's a surprise!!

Massive congratulations to Darcy, it's been a pleasure to watch him week in week out at King's Lynn this season, hopefully next season he won't be too far away either to pay a few visits and enjoy his talent in the EL -

Incredible meeting last night, I love watching speedway at the EoES whatever meeting is on, it always seems to produce some great racing. Huge credit to RL and his young team who gave it their all on the night, especially Danny King who was definately the pick of the bunch. Shame Kennett wasn't on the pace after supposedly looking great in practice earlier. The Poles were awesome, shame Gollob denied the fans one last look at him in the last heat, lost a bit of respect for him last night over that little episode but they were certainly a force to be reckoned with and on last night's performance alone think they've probably got the title in the bag already! Shame certain Polish fans let themselves down, they started off in fine fettle but ended up no less than drunken morons! All in all a great evening watching some awesome speedway on a fantastically prepared track, (take note Mr O!!)
