I was surprised as well tbh. I think he'll either be at Sheffield or Lynn next year. If it comes down to money then Sheffield will probably blow us out of the water.

I've heard those rumours as well but had it confirmed that we are planning to run by both Buster and Rob so can't get much clearer than that in my eyes. Not sure Cheryl's quite as chuffed though 😄 Sheffield have been sniffing for a while now but was told last night by a very good source that Ipswich have contacted him about next season as well.

Despite all the troubles, the on track action at Lynn has been pretty decent this season, and for me, another enjoyable evening at the AFA. Thought the crowd was pretty decent considering the meeting was on TV and it was the third home meeting in a week. Some good close racing and as @tellboy said, a decent amount of passing on a well prepared track. Thought Fricke was a bit naughty on Jan coming off the second bend in Heat 11. Definitely looked and rode straight across him. But that only fired Jan up more and he got his revenge by winning 13 & 15 in style. Jan's signing has been a breath of fresh air. Everyone loves him and he loves being at Lynn. Nailed on for a 2025 team spot. Niels has just been phenomenal these past couple of months. Been so consistent home and away and must surely be in the mix for a team spot next season. Thoght Anders acquitted himself very well for his first appearance in the top 5 and his career is only going one way. Sure to be in demand in 2025. Thought Lewi rode really well also. Great pass on Lawson in Heat 8 and chasing hard all night and Lambert chipped in with some valuable points as well. Great third place when he passed Sam Masters in Heat 7 to get the 4-2 to draw us level. Bomber just did typical Bomber things. Some awful gating but very quick once he got going. Brilliant pass on Douglas in Heat 6. Thanks to Norick for stepping in as well. Sure he'd be the first to admit the AFA isn't his favourite track but credit to him for taking the booking and looking to improve all the time. For Leicester, I guess they didn't need to put themselves out there, but they were nowhere as dominant as when they came last time. When they won the first four races, I thought we might be in for a long night but proud of how the Stars dug in and got the job done.

Jan certainly will be. Sheffield and Ipswich sniffing around Rowe. Hopefully he'll remain a Star but we'll see.

Lynn will be running 100% and team plans already well underway.

Straight forward win with Belle Vue pretty much being a 3 man team. Would have been a much tougher challenge if Kurtz had ridden. Think the referee was the only person in the stadium who thought Bewley pipped Lawson in 13. Robbed of his paid max. Good to see Niels continue his recent good form. His race in 15 with Lidsey was just like the rider of old. Despite all the troubles the team keeps fighting and there’s been some great meetings at the AFA this season. Hopeful that the Stars will be back on track in 2025. I’ve heard rumours both ways, but as a naturally positive person, until I’m told otherwise, I’ll keep dreaming of a Lambert (Robert), Lawson, Basso, Kvech & Iversen or Klindt top 5 next season.

Riding for Krosno today. Think it will be four guests and R/R on Wednesday. None of the Lynn top 5 available with only Kerr & Rowe at reserve. At least Niels & Jan should be back on Thursday.

Looks like new averages are out but won’t affect riding order for these matches as not effective until 01/09. Jan drops to 4th in the averages from then. Ben will be No. 1 on 6.89. Anders also moves into top 5 for the first time. Paddy drops to reserve.

The Czech and Danish fixtures are rearranged after postponement. Both weren’t in the calendar when the meeting was rearranged.

Luckily Anders likes being at Lynn, loves the track and would have it more grippy if he could. He also enjoys working with Rob who is one the best in the business. So some of these comments are laughable.

We always tend to park at Newport train station. Cuts out the hassle of having to drive in and out of Cardiff and finding a space. Regular trains for the short hop into Cardiff and the station is right in the centre so only a short walk to the stadium.

I know Rob was exploring all options. That was the news as we got it on Wednesday night for the podcast. I’m guessing we have someone sorted by now. Kvech likely to be missing due to Poland another headache to consider.

As I said on the pod last night, it was a head vs heart decision. I came down on the side of a narrow home win in a way that every grown man should make important life decisions, scrunched up some paper and stood 10ft away from a bin. If it went in, we'd win and if I missed, it would be a loss. Went straight in so there can be no doubt. (Probably should have done best of 3)

We literally having nothing to lose. King and Ellis have both had very good meetings at the AFA before, but are both prone to the odd shocker now and again. Emil is head and shoulders above any other rider on show, but he can't win it on his own and I'd say the others are pretty evenly matched. It should be an Ipswich win but I've still got some hope.

I think the BSPL should take a dim view of him being tapped up midway through the season. I’m sure his ankle would have healed a lot quicker as well.
