  1. Cheers Tellboy - I did see those but apparently they aren't the final official greensheet averages so didn't want to use them. They used to have all the greensheets on their site but can't see them now.
  2. So announced that it's 6 rides to a total of 35.5 plus a British youngster graded at four and below. Can't see the averages on the BSPA site but would assume Cook, Jorgensen, Riss, Kerr, Proctor and Bridger come to under that.
  3. Remember Hans Nielsen having some sort of ridiculous season with Oxford where I think he only got beaten a handful of times. Around about 1986/87 I think.
  4. Was about to say the very same. Obviously Buster and himself have cleared the air. Last I’d heard, they hadn’t spoken since the night of the Holder/Batchelor farce.
  5. Must be Rune Holta (the 46 year old Norwegian turned Pole)
  6. Would have much rather seen Aaron Summers or Josh Pickering take the final place. I'll reserve judgement on Hartel till at least he's had a chance to show what he can do, but overall doesn't look like a great side
  7. No - Kasper Andersen. Never looked comfortable at the AFA.
  8. Did Hartel do enough matches to become a Witches asset? Thought you had to ride a certain number of matches before a promotion could lay claim that he’s an asset. Something like 8 or 12 meetings springs to mind. No idea how many he rode but think he was dropped after getting injured fairly on in the season.
  9. Been rumours about this chap https://michael-haertel.de/
  10. Looks like Riss announced tomorrow, judging by the tease on social media.
  11. Put that on the Peterborough thread and you’ll probably be right.
  12. There's definite improvement in Lambert and Cook I reckon. Hopefully an injury free season will see Robert get back to nearer 9.00 than 8.00. Cook could well average over 8 as well. If it is Proctor at reserve as anticipated, I'd fancy him to put a point on his starting average as well. It's what happens in the engine room that will dictate our season I feel. We have to hope Riss, Jorgensen and Kerr offer improved performances away from home.
  13. While you and I are normally pretty much on the same page, think I'd disagree about last season's team. That side put together at the start of the season was awful. Jorgensen and Proctor had started to go off the boil away from home midway through the 2018 season. Only MPT's heroics saved us from a hammering at Belle Vue in the play off semi-final. The signs were there from the very start. Proctor should have never been given the second heat leader spot. Credit to the promotion for trying to change it up with signing Cook, but we were always playing catch-up. Time will tell but can't help shake the feeling that the same mistakes are being made again.
  14. I sincerely hope he goes on to be the modern day Terry Betts and spends his whole UK career with the Stars (I'm aware Betts also rode at Norwich and Reading but you get my drift)
  15. Not sure necessarily any doubt about a return to Lynn but there has been talk before about him possibly dropping the UK. His schedule was very busy and he lives in Germany with his girlfriend for most of the time. But as Baggy has said, with no GP's and U21 rounds, his schedule should be a bit more manageable this season.
  16. Somebody cocked up as was posted online then taken down again but it’s definitely him.
  17. Definitely looks like Jorgensen as there is a picture of him on Instagram wearing the same coat in Amsterdam. Such a frustrating rider. Can be excellent at Lynn, a real entertainer and one who can actually pass but there’s no escaping his horrendous away performances. its not like he’s new either, been riding in the top flight with Lynn since midway through 2017. Should be getting better away, not worse. That’s 2.5 seasons to get dialled in. Think he can count himself very fortunate to be back.
