All the best for a very very speedy recovery, Starry. We will look forward to you once again coming around the stadium with the Speedway Stars on match day in the new season, so make sure you are there ! from the Old Stand Gang !

Well it was inevitable that Watt had to go - it is said that the tractor went round the track faster !

I agree with you Bluejigger - obviously TonyE does not get away much from the Arena Essex track where such a style would be very difficult because of the d shape. Not only done by world champions but by Bjarne Pedersen a few weeks ago also at Poole. A track which is a true oval shape. -

Bring back Pearson and Tatum. Jason Crump was ok but the other guy will become boring very quickly. -
Poole Vs The Aces For The Title

Great result for the Pirates - the best team over 28 league matches and the Sky play off tournament. The deserved success again due to the great team that Matt built - his speeches last night were charged with high emotion. I wonder how many of the riders in next week's Monster v Magic meeting will be under the radar for next year's team ? -
The anti Poole jealousy train rumbles on and on and on !

Poole use Starman, who lives at the stadium.

What a stupid post written by an idiot regarding the start marshal who was only doing what he was instructed to do by the referee (via a radio link if you can understand that) ! -

A very enjoyable meeting with the world class Janowski standing out. The track was excellent again. -
Wolves Vs Pirates 04/may/2015

A number 1 rider should be capable of scoring highly home and away and frankly I cannot see Davy Watt doing that consistently. It amazes me that Chris Holder is riding at 2 which looks to be a back door way of average boosting before Darcy Ward's return end of June. -

Pearson Defends The Play-off... Desperate
hornblower replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Nigel Pearson is the best speedway commentator on TV. He adds vitality and interest even to the most processional of races. Kelvin is good as the instant comment man, backing him up although I was impressed with Steve Johnston when he stood in for him some years ago. If Sky do not transmit speedway next season, I fully expect Nigel to continue with the GP's on Eurosport and maybe take over the commentary of the European championship from the two clowns who do it at the moment. -

Referee Just Bottled Semi Decision
hornblower replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The referee did not bottle it. He just used common sense.
