All the best for a very very speedy recovery, Starry. We will look forward to you once again coming around the stadium with the Speedway Stars on match day in the new season, so make sure you are there !
from the Old Stand Gang !
I agree with you Bluejigger - obviously TonyE does not get away much from the Arena Essex track where such a style would be very difficult because of the d shape. Not only done by world champions but by Bjarne Pedersen a few weeks ago also at Poole. A track which is a true oval shape.
Great result for the Pirates - the best team over 28 league matches and the Sky play off tournament. The deserved success again due to the great team that Matt built - his speeches last night were charged with high emotion. I wonder how many of the riders in next week's Monster v Magic meeting will be under the radar for next year's team ?
What a stupid post written by an idiot regarding the start marshal who was only doing what he was instructed to do by the referee (via a radio link if you can understand that) !
A number 1 rider should be capable of scoring highly home and away and frankly I cannot see Davy Watt doing that consistently. It amazes me that Chris Holder is riding at 2 which looks to be a back door way of average boosting before Darcy Ward's return end of June.
SteveBrum, you tell us what your problem is. Whatever Poole Speedway do you are either critical or running them down. Is it because they are the most successful speedway team in the country. Who do you actually support ?
If you are not in the BBC WM reception area you can listen online from 7.30 at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_wm
You can also record the action on a scorecard from http://www.speedwayscorecards.net/wolverhampton.html as I will be doing.
