Whatever the rights and wrongs of the holder situation, you would have to think after investing a load of money into the club and getting holder lined up to then have that vetoed, followed by his replacement calling it quits after not completing a lap, MT couldn’t really be blamed for walking away.

If you’re going to make comments like that then at least back up the insinuation that it was the clubs fault he’s leaving.

Harris replaced Becker….this has been discussed elsewhere -
Depends how much buster had to do with it I guess…..
-
Who’s being dropped then?
-
Amazing that the special relationship between buster and Nicki that they were waxing lyrical about when signed could break down so quickly…..
-
If he really has quit it hardly makes any difference does it

Did they tell him before they were warming his bikes up and he was sat in the pits?

Yes it was clear his back week was over the “new” white line. It was the comment about Peterborough riders getting away with it for years that I queried…..
-
Funny old comment that….not sure what you’re basing that on but for someone that’s been going for years, id say that’s pretty inaccurate. Assume you understand that both wheels have to be over the white line to be excluded, not just the front wheel……?
-
Why’s that?
-
Surprised there’s been no news on Nicki’s condition today…..
-
In fairness basso made a mistake and pretty much waved Rew through. Nothing against the lad but that wasnt a genuine overtake due to being quicker…..

I think that’s what’s so appealing about the coming season. A lot of question marks, no clear favourite, big names returning. Excitement is building! -

Taken from SGP website The deal remains subject to confirmation from British Speedway Promoters Ltd, and he will need a UK visa. But Sayfutdinov is hopeful these obstacles will be overcome as Witches boss Chris Louis works hard to conclude a deal that has been months in the making.Sayfutdinov said: “I think there is a long process to go. I remember Chris calling in November asking about the possibility. We didn’t answer straight away and thought about it for a few days, but then we called Chris to ask how the situation looked and all the problems he could face

Wasn’t ulrich supposed to be getting a fairwell meeting at the start of the season?
-
In fairness if it is Pedersen I would think it would have a positive effect on Hans after a poor season and basso will certainly want to impress in front of the new Danish TM

I’d wait to see your final line up before gloating too much….

He didn’t sell himself well last time he rode for us. Was just as keen to ride his own teammates out as he was the opposition. Got the feeling he only turned up because Frost offered him a lot of money and had to put a team together late after the winter of discontent. Equipment seemed below par and didn’t buy in to the team at all. Got sacked and replaced by Hans late in the season. Says it all.
