  1. Reap what you sow. Ford etc should remember this when you are not believed.
  2. For many Poole have pulled so many perceived strokes over the years that everything they say and do is viewed with suspicion.
  3. I found myself as a complete neutral last night as despite in the past having had some good feeling about both teams I now find Poole put me off with their creative interpretation of the rules and some hostility regarding present management of the Bees.
  4. Personally I cling to the forlorn hope that Panthers will return to Elite League
  5. Understand that after Heat 13 Sheffield agreed to postpone the meeting but those troublemakers from Peterborough would not agree.
  6. Suppose it depends on who is paying the money and where the money is going to.!
  7. An alternative view could be in these days where riders show little loyalty to their clubs that it is a breath of fresh air that the riders concerned are willing to alter their plans to accomodate the club and supporters. In addition it should be noted that as all three are new Panthers acquisitions that their plans had been in place for some time
  8. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of this situation it underlines the basic rule of those in charge of Speedway that self interest is paramount at all times.
  9. If there was any integrity within the sport nobody would have anything to do with him. A great pity in my opinion that his development as a rider has been far in excess of his development as a person.
  10. If the noise was indeed going on until 2/3am in the morning there are not many that would not have sympathy with the persons complaining. However unless I have missed something this particulat argument is a bit of a red herring. I think the complaints were aimed more at the use of the stadium in general.
  11. I am not sure where the 2am business comes from, from what I can gather this noise is caused by individuals not directly connected with the Stadium who seem to be carrying out reprisals against the people who complained.
  12. It seems Judges are so divorced from reality that they live in a world all of their own. It defies belief that a Judge can rule in favour of someone who buys a house adjacent to a Stadium that has been in existence for 40 years and then complains about the noise. It may exlplain the standard of person when in a previous post their solicitors claimed it need not have got so far as they had offered that it would all go away if the Stadium owners bought their house and paid a six figure sum in compensation In the last few days judges have overturned someones will in favour of a daughter that has been estranged since the 1970's and let a fellow judge off a debt which it is claimed is unaffordable despite the fact the person concerned earns in excess of £90000.
  13. Get Real, At the end of the day money will be the deciding factor . As we have seen at other venues over the years even those who profess to be Speedway supporters will capitulate if enough money is waved in their faces.
  14. For many it is not that he was within his rights to miss the meeting but rather whether it was right for him to do so.
  15. I am not aware of any Robert haters. Many however are concerned regarding him missing the Ipswich meeting and it may well be that in the fullness of time Robert himself may also come to see it as an error of judgement. I sure many would be only too pleased hear of the full facts.
  16. I really do not see that because Robert Lambert found it convenient to ride at Newcastle that he has answered his critics!!!. He was no doubt within his rights to miss Friday but so were King and Manzares but they made the effort
  17. Lets not pussyfoot about the failure of Lambert to appear was nothing short of disgracefull.
  18. I always laugh at those who embrace the rules. Facts are that there are no rules.
  19. Whatever way you look at it Lambert has let Panthers down big time,I doubt many Panthers fans will regard him in the same light ever again.. His only excuse for not turning up yeaterday was that the rules meant he did not have to.
  20. Hugely disappointed with Lambert, difficult not to concur with those that are of the view that he if was just not bothered. Bite the hand that feeds you comes to mind.
  21. Such things are the norm when you opt for second division
  22. Arguably a nightmare start of season for Panthers with two of the team now out with seemingly long term injuries. It would also seem that Friday nights are not the panacea predicted by many..
  23. I have just come across a quote which Darcy should take on board " stop blaming others 95% of your pain is caused by your own stupidity"
