  1. Unfortunately it is normal practice in Speedway to consider spectators as an afterthought. Must not blame Lambert he was only doing what his Mummy told him as all good boys should
  2. Certainly this all seems to have backfired spectacularly on Ged despite win in 4TT. He may think what he has done is good for Panthers but I just do not see it.
  3. IMO we have been shafted by management and Holder, tomorrows team is something we should be ashamed of.
  4. The point I was making is that as far as I know suggestions of a bung are nothing more than supposition and unless anybody knows different such claims are dangerous and irresponsible.
  5. Has anybody any proof that money changed hands ? As mentioned in a previous post it seems that Holder had every intention of riding in Torun regardless. Personally I think Peterborough should have said if you ride in Torun you are finished here.
  6. I am not aware that Peterborough have broken any rules .Most likely they know the word anyway and would not require a dictionary
  7. Are you certain there was bung? If so how much was it We forget that BSPA was formed as the promoters did not like the decisions coming from the then independent body
  8. Quite right the statement as you say says no such thing and is old news anyway. Not clear why someone should raise this now especially when their assertions are wrong. It may well be that Holder will miss those meetings but it does not say so in the statement.
  9. In the case of the two Aussies concerned spiteful and vindictive is fine by me. Paid good money and drove long way to see the fiasco that evening.
  10. That is what Peterborough fans think will happen. According to Mr Rathbone it will not matter as we are out of the running anyway
  11. It is probable the Holder let it be known he was going to Torun on Sunday regardless. Few if any at Peterborough agree with Ged Rathbones actions. To give as an excuse that the season was over anyway seems naïve I( a euphemism) to say the least.
  12. There are very few if any that support what Mr Rathbone did re Holder and his absence, but I fail to understand how some can claim that Panthers won through cheating or breaking the rules. It is very clear that Panthers team was considerably weaker than it would have been if Holder had of been there.
  13. It seems fairly clear that Holder said something like " I am going to Torun make the best of if"
  14. Whilst I do not condone or agree in any way with what has happened it seems clear to me that Ged Rathbone was left between a rock and a hard place and had to make the best out of an impossible situation. I think however that he has spun it wrong and this will certainly result in poor crowds for the rest of the season which may in turn make the very future of Panthers in doubt.
  15. I am with Rob McCaffery on this one. Totally unnecessary dig by Noodles.
  16. It should be the responsibility of the organisers to give a definitive answer on this. However this is Speedway and it is doubtful if they will, being more concerned that the truth may have an adverse effect on the crowd.
  17. Have always had a soft spot for Poole as my favourite rider of all time originated there. However many will feel in the present situation "what goes round comes around".
  18. If Kings Lynn fans wish him out the reason will be other than his riding ability
  19. I was told the next day by a Kings Lynn rider that in his opinion there was nothing wrong with the track.
  20. pI**ing fans off has been Batchelor's speciality for quite some time.
