  1. Having only ever supported Wembley I did not think I would ever feel the same about another team. I went to quite a few meetings at other tracks but it was never the same , in fact the pleasure I got was from supporting the away side. However I did manage to get almost the same feeling towards White City and their League title win was great. I was in the same state of limbo when they closed but fortunately in recent years I have managed to form an allegiance to Peterborough.
  2. Frankly I doubt it. In any case talk of return to proper speedway is speculation at best.
  3. Blimey you are like a dog with a bone. Let me repeat I found the racing at Ipswich boring, others did not. Why is it then of any interest or relevance what team I may or not support or whether you may find the racing at that track boring?
  4. A number of Panthers fans stopped attending on stepping down to Second Division. I fear many of the present fans if asked would say they prefer Second Division. I of course want Panthers to return to the top flight.
  5. Whatever Ged's intentions he has misjudged the situation badly if he thinks fans will forgive and forget . I would welcome a return to proper Speedway but speculation regarding possible teams is premature to say the least, some may say silly. It is possible Ged's situation may become clearer later today. Scaffold was due to be erected this morning but dispute within BSPA over who would pay for wood and possible prior claim for use of executioners axe from Poland.
  6. Yes I was neutral at that meeting, I do not see any relevance in what team I may or may not support,
  7. Totally ridiculous any team that wants to come up can and any that want to go down will be allowed to
  8. The season is descending in to an even greater farce than normal. Imo should scrap all outstanding fixtures other than those that have any meaning.
  9. I am on my knees preying, I thought as did those with me it was boring as It seemed to us neither team showed any real desire to win and looked as they were merely going through the motions
  10. As a neutral who was in the"grandstand" The lighting other than on the home straight was so poor it was difficult to see the incident. Doubt it would have made any difference to the result anyway. Again as a neutral my view on the meeting was boring, boring ,boring.
  11. You seem to imply that both you and Corbyn know. Clearly you do not so best to keep quiet until you do.
  12. Please let us all into the financial details as all we have heard up to now is speculation.
  13. He is probably right but how many times does the point need making. Of course it could be that SCB thought of the spectators for once.
  14. Given that the meeting and the result did not really matter anyway evidenced by the poor crowd nobody other than SCB who seems to have seized the bone and won't let go really cares anyway.
  15. What a load of rubbish over nothing!!! I doubt any Panthers supporter gives a monkeys as the meeting was totally meaningless . Any blame if there is blame is at the feet at those who sanctioned R/R certainly not Harris or Peterborough. Is anybody seriously of the opinion that having been given the facility Panthers should not have used it?
  16. I have no idea what the rules say, however Peterborough must have got permission to use rider replacement , they certainly can't just to decide to do it because they thought they would. Very ill informed and disrespectful remarks regarding (old couple) and wedding anniversary. I suggest whoever made that remark researches who they are. I would suggest Chris Harris is the last person that could be accused of ducking meetings
