  1. There seems to be a number revelling in the plight Panthers find themselves in. According to some Panthers fans are acceptable collateral damage in the pursuit of perceived justice.
  2. I would like a return to the top league but not with Horton. Speedway should be declared a Horton Free Zone
  3. There are certainly places in the world that would subscribe to your views on justice and punishment, fortunately they are becoming fewer.
  4. The race night was the problem so it was changed. Can't see what point you are making OK from your point of view if a person commits crime their whole family should be punished .It used to be called "to encourage others"
  5. So you think that it is perfectly acceptable for another club to close and make long suffering fans suffer? I have long held the view that in a sense owners and promoters hold the club in trust for fans, past . present and future. It is simply not fair for those fans to carry the can when that trust is betrayed ( in the view of some)
  6. The only thing that would surprise me is if he hasn't gone. As has been said previously stated I really do not think that he believes he has done anything wrong and probably does care anyway. As regards this fixture and competition in general . best scrapped for this year.
  7. Some just do not seem to get this. A free meeting will only benefit Panthers supporters unless the BSPA are planning to bus in hoards from far and wide to make their point. Those Panthers fans who may have felt aggrieved over what has happened did not lose any money just voted with their feet and did not go post Holder. I am absolutely sure that if the insistence of a free meeting meant Panthers not running next year the vast majority would prefer Panthers to run.
  8. Frankly I see little chance of a Panthers victory. A lot depends on what Panthers team turn up.
  9. You still do not give us the facts. Do you actually know them?
  10. I am sure Crump 99 was suggesting that if you know the truth we would all be pleased to hear it. Your post gives no indication that you do. Frankly I doubt that many actually heard everything said yesterday by Ged.. It has also been suggested that Rathbone had been additionally fined for what statements he has made.
  11. A very tasteless remark in my view, as it seems this may well be the end of Peterborough Speedway.!!!!!
  12. Yes I see your point as well. But your stance does not punish" he who is being fined" but the Peterborough club itself( as does the free meeting )., I wish some could see that . Ignore what you may see from the happy clappers most Peterborough fans have little sympathy for what Rathbone did or for Holder.
  13. Same could be said about most of the people in charge
  14. I assume you are trying to be facetious as the circumstances particularly for season ticket holders are entirely different
  15. Sorry not getting at you, I just think this so called gesture is mean and shoddy bearing in mind the trouble and uncertainty the past few weeks have caused
  16. I do not see this as any sort reward for season ticket holders .
  17. IF Ged has not spent the money I do not see the problem in paying the fine. However I suspect some if not all of it has gone. I do not support the free admission to next meeting which seems to have sent the vultures and scavengers into a feeding frenzy. I really do not see the purpose of this since I cant understand what anybody has actually lost financially over this affair. I would hope that Panthers fans if this still stands and indeed Panthers still run would not take advantage of it, I certainly won't.
  18. Put up some sort of show.!!!! If what you say is reflective of the actual position such meetings are a farce.
