Must be mad to have accepted an away fixture against Lakeside the next day after trip to Workington. Suggest the venue is clarified as Panthers site indicates it is at Lakeside whereas Lakeside seem to think it is at Rye House

Panthers have never had a rider you could put your money on to win a race, but they have several who are likely to win a race against the odds. Today with the injury problems, Ostergaard somewhat rusty after his lay off and MPT having an off day rather proved the point.

Seems to be a different understanding between Lakeside and Peterborough as to when the remaining fixtures between the clubs will be staged. Different things on each clubs websites.

I was fortunate to see Ronnie Moore at the start and latter stages of his career, although the Jawa was taking over he stayed loyal to the JAP throughout his career. Undoubtedly one of the greatest riders of all time. Being a Wembley supporter I recall that BBC Sportsview sent cameras to Wembley for a match v Wimbledon specifically to show one heat between Brian Crutcher and Tommy Price for Wembley and Ronnie Moore and Barry Briggs for the Dons.
