Not what Ged told me!!!!!!. If what you say is other than conjecture I accept what you say
-
Geds team was good ,this one isn't. Who is to blame it is not our place to know as the mere paying public. We must make do with platitudes from those more exalted than us.

Feeling pretty disillusioned at the moment. Big change from the feeling when Geds team was announced. Did not see Stilton Panther there which speaks volumes. -
What the true situation may be persons outside the inner sanctum do not know. I do know however that Ged told me he regretted selling the club and that Neil Watson told me that he and Ged had intended to stay .
-
With our first fixture tomorrow I have never had so little trust in management than I do now
-
Whether by omission or commission Panthers fans have been shafted . Last Fridays eulogising over the new management team is now looking misplaced to say the least
-
Most will now wish it was Gomoilski , another slap in face for fans. What a ruddy hames
-
A N Other . Gone past caring
-
Jon Armstrong would be within budget
-
The magnificence of the wonderful new race suits clearly overshadowed the relatively minor distraction of fans being shafted yet again. This is the second rider who we now are told had not signed a contract. One wonders if anybody has
-
Even if he was there it makes no difference to the essence of what has happened mushroom management at its wolrst again. From what I hear even if NKI does sign it is only likely to be a stop gap. I would not be too happy either if I was a Kings Lynn fan
-
Exactly I made the same comment on another forum.
-
Had it not been that they had to explain his absence from P&P most likely we would not know even now
-
Spot on the most positive optimistic supporter I know and they have managed even to piss him off. When I spoke to Ged the other week he seemed close to tears over what was happening, now we know why
-
Gomolski in no way adequate replacement for Cooke. Hope we can do better.
-
Ged denies this
-
Total madness .Fortunately I will not be there whatever. Can they really want to start the new regime with a financial disaster?
-
I did not , but that does mean it is true or otherwise. I will not be there whatever the start time.

Think you would find Ged disputes this view

Memories of Ron How and Brian Crutcher.
wealdstone replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Years Gone By
I saw both these riders in action but more so Brian Crutcher. Brian retired when still very young (25 I think) he lost interest in Speedway due to business demands and as he would later say the closure of Wembley. He was when focussed the match of the top riders of the day Fundin, Moore, Briggs Craven etc. I believe he has subsequently said that he suffered nerves on the big occasions which handicapped him in top individual events. There is a fairly recent Biography of him which will give more details I will PM the title etc when I locate the book which I have somewhere -
My own view is that Ged did not go voluntarily
-
Think there is a lot more than we know or will ever know.

Weird stuff going on at Peterborough. Looks like we have three promoters with another on the way. Seems to me Ged and Neil being squeezed out. Following the normal course those in know being threatened with dire retribution if their lips are opened and a three line whip to ensure silence. I do not trust Buster but I would be more worried if I was a Stars fan as it seems he is currently for whatever reason more interested in Peterborough. To be more precise the EOES
