Taking the 30 pieces of silver did not work, the latest ploy my have. It really would be enlightening to here the story from Ged & Neil.
-
That is what many Panthers fans fear and expect, from the silent assassin
-
I think we are seeing the end of Peterborough Speedway. A lot of bad luck but still think ultimately Ged and Neil were shafted and what is more I think that was always the plan. .
-
One league or no league is the choice imo
-
There are IMO very few Buster supporters , but rather those that realise it is Buster or nothing at the moment. Ipswich will survive as the Louis still have some control as will KL . Panthers on the other hand are up the creek without a paddle.
-
Not going is not the answer , Buster will have no compunctions in closing down Peterborough if the money does not work out . If he does with no buyer we will not see the Panthers on track again.
-
I do not see going off at a tangent to the rest of the Speedway world as an answer

Many will have a similar view -
I like Simon Lambert but struggles at this level.

I am pretty sure the take over was tied up in principal before the team was announced. It is not a secret that in the interim Buster did a vanishing act and could not be contacted, so much so that Ged was prepared to carry on himself if need be. Dodgy dealing deceit and subterfuge has long been the stock in trade in Speedway

The term keyboard warriors seems to me the only riposte promoters have when they can't or won't give any credible reason for the shambles such has been served up recently.

Carl is I fear way out of his depth amongst the Mafia elite.
-
You really are a silly sod

There is no doubt in my mind that as Neil and Ged have said that the original team was in budget, I also feel that as Neil told me personally both he and Ged intended to remain as promoters albeit with Buster as owner. Seems to me they were subsequently shafted and then I suspect betrayed by those that they had previously considered as friends. Despite not going public it speaks volumes that one of the biggest Panthers Fans both practically and financially has walked away.

Buster seemingly becoming more hands on at Panthers -
Having followed this situation avidly and knowing a modicum of the background . Ged is a very emotional person and made the statement you refer to at a very bad time and whilst being ill,. Subsequent statements were very clear that if all else failed he would carry on and would never close the club down. I know he regrets selling as he has told me personally
