Favourite Rider of All Time

Funny the things you remember. My earliest memory of Briggo was in the pits at Wembley probably in 1950's, he was probably still a teenager. asking his mechanic to tighten his handlebars which had become loose -
For me has to be Brian Crutcher

Does anybody know why track grading has evolved to it current format.? In the past it was pretty seamless after every race whilst bikes being got ready for the next heat.

King's Lynn v Peterborugh 19/08/2019

Buster had another attack of CTD ( Compulsive Tractor Disorder) Getting worse as he was going backwards for some of the time. -
I do not remember putting it in quite those terms but may have said something similar. On reflection I could see that sort of attitude if adopted by all would see the Panthers fold permanently, and I certainly do not and did not want that
-
It is not the fans fault if they do not like the product and do no go, it is the fans fault if they do not go purely to indulge in retribution against Buster, whose tenure I agree has been a disaster. I and others hope there is something left when Buster goes. He has always said his tenure is only temporary

Where can I see mr chapmans statement.?
-
Owners come and owners go, in my view it is important to leave something behind that a potential new owner will want.
-
A masterful and well argued post, succinctly making your point in the most erudite manner
-
Now on official site
-
Interestingly we get the news on here and not from official sources. In fairness there is little room for manoeuvre in terms of availability
-
Buster said from word go he wants rid asap
-
My view is that the club is more important than the owner . If supporters stop going to punish the current owner then they are effectively closing the club down. If that is what you want that is your affair , but it will be you that closes the club not the owner. Nobody is going to continue to lose money indefinitely. What supporters should be doing IMO is to create a club that another party would like to take over. The above is not in any way an endorsement of Mr Chapman

Whether you regard Buster as devil or angel there can be little doubt that Panthers future is seriously concerning.
-
Heard Ged got a quite decent amount. Not sure how much as there could have been very few assets majority of which I would suggest were bought by the supporters club and fans
-
The Harris situation was already common knowledge, they kept Cook to themselves though.
-
In fairness he attended a fans forum before the start of the season
-
All support the team and the club . That is why many are worried and concerned.
-
Not forgetting a large contributor then is now persona non grata
-
Many would be willing and able to contribute a one off amount. Longer term is the problem. You will need to have a plan
-
Trouble is this is long term commitment , an entirely different thing from a quick whip round
-
Believe the supporters club do not feel the same way as most about Buster.
-
A boycott is not the answer , it hurts Panthers as a team ,not Buster.
-
I am no fan of Buster,I do not believe he bought Panthers as a philanthropic gesture , and I do not believe he has any particular interest in Panthers per se. I am also sure however he is not making any money out of Panthers , probably losing a fair bit if truth be known. However boycotting Panthers to get one over Buster is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

All you say is true. But I and many will still wish for Panthers to survive
