  1. Never heard of disabled referred to as a minority bunch of people. One way to look at it I suppose
  2. The more the comment from Carl is disected the more petty and ill thought it seems.
  3. I believe in fairness so I must put it on record that one of my E mails to the club has been returned as undeliverable. Not a computer expert and do not know if there is more to this than the obvious.
  4. That then is an admission that it comes from Speedway not the show ground as previously claimed. What Carl says re parking contains an element of truth but not I think to the extent he suggests.
  5. Had there been such an intention they could well have nipped the whole thing in the bud by announcing at the time.
  6. There is a saying which I am unable to recall to the effect that evil will happen if the majority stay silent. Could not be more true of the Blue Badge situation at Panthers. It has run its course and people getting tired and no longer interested exactly what the bosses were counting on. I urge you all to bombard the club with E Mails . I see Mr Rising from Speedway Star whist content to constantly give his views on Brexit is less forthcoming on blue Badge holders being screwed
  7. Unless sense prevails I can see the marathon walk now required of the disabled to look like one of famous retreats in military history . Casualties awash along the route, I forsee many leaning against their crutches to gain their breath, wheelchairs abandoned as the ordeal proved too much mechanically and others just stopped resigned to their fate . It is rumoured that in their benevolence bosses may open the gates 24 hours early to enable those most affected to crawl in stages if required
  8. Are speedway Star going to take this matter up? Or do they feel it does not concern them , possibly they fear retribution. Peter Oakes with ties to the press could also lend his support.
  9. The bosses have been rumbled, clearly have little concern about the disgraceful treatment of the disabled . Could say hang your heads in shame but seemingly they have none.
  10. Club have certainly led fans to believe the Showground at fault and have verbally confirmed this to certain people. On the other hand I have an E Mail from Showground that says different. Seeing as club have chosen to remain silent and and ignore e mails , who is to be believed? Suspect E mails to club go to Carl Johnson who either does not know what to do or has been told to keep quiet. It may be of course that he is deeply unhappy about the situation and may even himself have been told a different story.
  11. Waiting to see is to acknowledge that it will happen.
  12. Totally true how could anyone not be moved by such a story. However we are now seeing posts to the effect of " what about the team "or"" back to the team. Music to managements ears and what they have been waiting for. People getting bored with the disabled issue.
  13. Panthers website says "hectic start for Panthers" even more hectic for Blue Badge holders denied their traditional parking places on a whim of the bosses.
  14. Might just as well had the disabled parking at the Railway Station such are the distances involved.
  15. Strange is not the correct word for what is happening. .
  16. It is down to the triumvirate of Chapman, Johnson and Pratt. Most will have their own view on who calls the shots when the chips are down.
  17. Not sure what you mean by link. The info was revealed on Panthers official site under " get your season ticket" there was a sub section headed disabled parking within the ground "click here" which reveals that they will not be able to park within the ground they imply and I know for a fact that they have told people verbally that it was down to the showground. Jason Lunn at Showground has e mailed me to say it was not of their doing and parking is totally down to Speedway. Since then Speedway bosses have maintained a deathly silence and declined to respond to E Mails
  18. We see Mr Chapman smiling and grinning beatifically , but IMO seems to mask a cold cold heart, given what he is doing to the Peterborough disabled
  19. It would seem bosses have no shame and intend to put two fingers up to the disabled. Even though they can no longer blame the showground and the cold hearted deed is fairly and squarely on their shoulders
  20. Now we know that the decision came from Panthers management and they have declined to acknowledge that it was all a misunderstanding , many may feel how utterly reprehensible they are and have been towards Blue Badge holders..
  21. In the meantime they amuse themselves by stitching up the disabled
  22. Looks like the silent majority have decided to remain silent, and thus those responsible get away with it again.
  23. It would do them a lot more good if they sorted out the disabled parking scandal, which is beyond shameful
  24. Must say I have never come across this but of course genuine carers are a different matter than spouses who accompany their wives or husband. Think I was referred to once as a carer at Rye House but quite rightly I had to pay. s
