  1. I have not got a link but was told this by someone in the know. Unwilling to name names
  2. Meanwhile away from present crisis Mr Chapman still has my money, maintains wall of silence and has not even issued the now useless season ticket
  3. My beef is that they have my money, but have not issued the season ticket, even though it would have been totally useless.
  4. It is my understanding that BSPA have told promoters not to give any money back at present. That of course seems to have given the green light to adopt the normal Speedway protocol and just ignore requests for refunds.
  5. Very much afraid you are right. I know Carl Johnson has sent my request for a refund to the big boss, but as expected in typical Speedway fashion have heard sod all.
  6. I know more pressing matters at moment, but sent off £480 in January for season tickets. Had an acknowledgement but cheque not cashed till I believe March. I have doubts that we will see any Speedway this season , in fact the longer this goes on I fear we will not see Panthers again. Asked for money back and told request sent to accounts department, nothing heard since. If it helps Panthers I am willing to let things be , but I am not willing to help management who treat disabled fans in such a shameful and callous way.
  7. I think it may well prove to be a hard job to get the money back
  8. I do not think Steve Bast was ever fully committed , he did not have is own equipment and rode the Wembley track spare for his entire Wembley sojourn. I can recall various riders trying to tell him what lines to ride but to no avail
  9. My reply from Carl Johnson was that he had sent my request to Accounts Department. In practice I would think anybody wanting their money back will have a long wait. I am owed £480 . I will not starve , but would suggest clubs are morally and legally required to give the money back.Significant that no promoter has made any comment on this situation.
  10. Just had a scam Email telling me there was a prob with my TV lic and asking me to create a direct Debit for payment
  11. In the scheme of things it is fairly trivial , however I noticed my season ticket cheque ( 2 tickets) had been cashed and I asked for money back. Got a response that request sent to accounts department( did not know they had one) nothing heard since. More important things going on at the moment and I will not starve , but I would really like my money back. About £460
  12. Although I get mine by subscription it is still available at my local Tesco.
  13. I truly have a deal of sympathy for all concerned as many will face hardship or worse, and are in denial mode. Anybody who thinks the season will start mid april are in cloud cuckoo land
  14. I am sorry to say that this could mean the end of Speedway in this country
  15. Frankly can't see any Speedway this season. Could be even worse
  16. Not really just think BSPA are relying on the situation being taken out of their hands.
  17. Know what you mean but at the present suggest cut them a bit of slack. Even Speedster 15 has those close that could be vulnerable. We are in worst situation since WW2 almost war without the bombs.
  18. I am buying up the stock of immodium. With the absence of toilet paper constipation is next best alternative.
  19. Not doing themselves any favours with more and more of the stuff we watch going to BT. Mind you I rate BT as one of the most greedy avaricious outfits going
  20. Whilst I have both Sky and BT I will not cancel due to present crisis. Like everything else the lack of revenue will result in those employees who can least afford it suffering
  21. Totally true. Many people just don't get that to many of the older generation computers are a complete mystery,
  22. Probably you have secured your bog roll supply already
  23. I really do not think many have realised how serious this is. The virus itself is serious enough but the knock on effect on the very structure of society is mind blowing. Starting with panic buying , people losing their jobs etc. You can envisage a society where money is useless and bartering of goods becomes the norm.
