Glasgow v Scunthorpe 12th June 2023
JCookie replied to cinderfella's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If speedway can't do enough to get 100 paying customers on a stream then it really is bad. As you keep repeating, it's a convenience (not sure why that's bad) so surely 100 customers is easy? -
If he followed half the stuff on here then he probably wouldn't get slated as much.
-
This must surely be changed in the morning when someone sees sense. The guest choices are OK but ffs why would you make life any harder than you need to against Leicester?
-
The thing is the stuff put out on social media is dreadful. In a city with so much going on - entertainment-wise - then you need to grab your audience. How can you legitimately take a screenshot of a mobile phone and use that to advertise your event? I've said it before on here that I'm no expert but I'm willing to spare time and effort to knock up a couple of graphics that the club can use. Anything has to be a start.

Monarchs vs Diamonds 7.30pm Friday 10th June

Robbed of a vital away win by the rain - Newcastle must be furious! -
There were not many ways that Newcastle could make a poor team change, but what do you know they've actually managed it.

What's the big secret?

Nothing but a (very) poor attempt at a wind up. I've no affinity to any particular club but see the same poster popping up on several threads trying to bait different fans, a bit sad really. Nobody minds a bit of banter between fans, and there's been some good wind-up merchants over the years on here, but him and the Redcar fan are just lowest denominator stuff. Antagonistic for the sake of it.

I'm over at the Warsaw GP and my enjoyment is being affected as Cami Brown keeps banging on the referee's window wanting to discuss the ruts on bends 3/4. -

A point at the single worst track in history, with overpriced burgers, dodgy injuries and a shocking crowd, no less. Or so they say. -

It's comforting that no matter what goes on in the world, there'll always be sour Berwick fans whinging when their team gets beat -
All the photoshopped images look alright every so often but not every week. I can also never understand why an action shot is not always used. If you're going to buy SS then you'll buy it, but surely an action shot would attract the floating bike fan? More than a photoshopped image of a riders face?

Glasgow v Berwick CL 22/4/22 @19-30

You can probably give Etheridge a pass if he's not 100% fit but Bickley has made zero progress. It's sad as he was a brilliant youngster but it just doesn't seem to be working at senior level. -
Yours is about as awful a take as the other post. The racing at Newcastle is far from exciting, but it's a fairly decent, smooth, racing track. The racing at both tracks is pretty bland compared to most.

Leicester vs Scunthorpe 02/04/2022 Championship

But lots of fans only support a winning team. Cannot win (excuse the pun). -
Woffinden home & Bewley away?
-
I think you'd probably have umpteen riders waiting for a squad system, but getting someone to pay for them however...
-
Whatever team you support, if you think the BSPL raising Woffinden's average so he can't return to Britain would be right then you need your head checked. Nothing should allow this opportunity to be passed up.

The wrong year or just nothing to do with BV..? https://ibb.co/VNFkP1D

Brilliant. Like for like! Add that to the fact they sacked a rider and then spent numerous months 'replacing' him and using horses for courses guests too. Hilarious.
