  1. Just have a 12 rider 14 heat meeting. Lets be fair even 12 is pushing it as most of them are not good enough.
  2. Why didn't they seperate them and try to manoeuvre a big final between the 2? Lets face it the rest aren't great so you'd fancy Dudley and Stoke to win through.
  3. I can fully understand Ronnie's reaction if true. The BSPA makes another cock-up.
  4. So what happens if/when Bjerre finishes outside the top 8 in the GPs now, after, I presume, he has missed out on GP qualification?
  5. Is it still a 3-leg final? When/where are the others, if so?
  6. The presenter at the Ă–rnarna-Masarna meeting is great.
  7. Just got round to watching Vastervik vs Lejonen and was pretty surprised with the landslide win. Nice track though and some very decent racing.
  8. Been waiting months for this, I loved it the last time.
  9. Surprising performance from Bridger, thought riding against all his mates would spur him on.
  10. That was a horrible looking crash for Balinski.
  11. Surprising choice but it should be great experience for the lad. I see it hasn't stopped people complaining about Ward not being selected, why was anyone expecting him to be in a round where the home country has more than enough good riders themselves, I don't know.
  12. I totally agree with you that the whole grass roots set-up needs to be radically changed. What I don't understand, however, is how riding a meeting against a team full of riders that most Brits ride against regularly in the league, can help their progression? It may help some of the top PL riders become that bit better, but the riders already riding EL surely can't benefit that much. If you did want to test EL riders and improve them then why not ride against Poland? The best side in the world.
  13. I'm well aware of that. It still doesn't stop there being no evidence as to why he deserves a Wild Card more than anyone else does.
  14. How many meetings of this type do the other countries have? There isn't a great deal of potential world beaters available for GB, and if there were they'd be at a good level already.
  15. Stead has also done nothing this season to warrant a Wild Card.
  16. Auty would have qualified if not for bad luck. The final is at Wolverhampton and Auty will, in all likelihood, be better than Stead around there (not hard), and therefore is a far better Wild Card choice.
  17. I'm sure more people would rather see an "EL reserve" than an "established heat leader" (safrican american), Stead is crap at Wolverhampton and reached his level long ago, at least by Auty getting a go he might well do something other than the mediocre score Stead would have got.
