  1. Even after all these years the Shovlar wind-ups about how strong the opposition are never fail In who's world is Sedgmen and Starke for MPT and Andersen good - nevermind a strong line-up?
  2. They can't do that because, as is speedway tradition, they have to let you know they know something you don't, without actually telling you anything. Cringeworthy.
  3. Bold to assume the BSPL know what is "in the best interests of the sport". If they do then they don't often show it.
  4. Rather read that than your whining about a European competition. At least the suspicion of Douglas didn't make it to an official press release
  5. Someone else doing it still makes a mockery of getting a facility, and it also highlights who's running the sport in this country. I think it's unfair to say Godfrey is biased, I think he's just been a general failure as chairman so everyone has probably benefitted equally.
  6. It does if you're Redcar, Glasgow, Poole and a few other club's fans. Grant made a pathetic effort of promoting the club and was full of hot air.
  7. You can really, it was 2 freak accidents. I'd rather listen to my nan's thoughts on Glasgow than a failed mouthy speedway rider like Porsing.
  8. The car parks mentioned should have plenty capacity if you're there reasonably early. The furthest is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Things are a lot different to how they used to be that's for sure!
  9. From a couple of laps? Deserves to be broken in that case
  10. Thank you. We used the train last year and it was pretty much hassle free, very impressed. We land at 14:15 in Gdansk. I've seen that name before, is it fairly straightforward to use/navigate?
  11. Left it way too late this year and booked it on a whim last week - flights to Gdansk was the only option - is there a recommended route to get to Torun? It looks like a couple of buses or maybe a direct train is the best option but advice would be appreciated. Cannot wait.
  12. Morley, McGurk, Pearson all reserves. Etheridge started the season there. Lambert (?) and Hume have been there. Shocking.
  13. It's not far off tbf tho is it? Ostergaard was the key, and he was a busted flush in the Premier League not that long ago. Nobody expected him to come back to average 7+ in the EL, there's a lot of good fortune there.
  14. Things could've all been different if Steve Park had been a better negotiator then. Bah
  15. That's the gist of it. Whether you genuinely are convinced by the promotion or not, there's a few on here who'd argue black was white if Damien Bates told them to.
  16. Why did James Pearson, who scored 6 from 4, not take any extra rides? It could've won Birmingham the meeting?
  17. Unfortunately the ICO are hugely under-resourced and you've got virtually no chance of getting anything back from an email. By time this government rips apart the DPA 2018 then we'll not have much data protection anyway so I can't see the solicitors getting far.
  18. Steve Worrall raced in a SWC, Kyle Howarth has been involved with Team GB. If anything I think Lawson seems to get shunned a bit. He's miles better than Kerr and even he's been in the GB setup.
  19. In fairness I think most people could work out why Roynon is guesting, I think the issue is they've got him guesting for their top 3. Which is madness.
  20. It was trending 'For you' and not across the country. Mine was the same.
