Surely Nicki will refuse a WC if he doesn't make the top 8? If Poland still goes ahead with the limit on GP riders then he will one of, if not the, best non GP rider out there and will probably get well rewarded.

Yet still good enough to qualify ahead of Ward, Jonasson and Batchelor.

Yes, exactly. I cannot understand the WK's point at all, every rider has a chance of going through the qualifiers if they're good enough. I think WK is just living well in the past and nothing will change his views.

I must say from the Polish streams i've seen MJJ hasn't come across so any sort of wonderkid. I have no doubt however that if he joined an EL side at reserve he'd clean up against most of the other reserves.

Why arrange it in the first place?

Hancock and Gollob are 2 of the most gifted speedway riders of their generation. Pedersen, and Hampel in particular, are just good riders on fast bikes. I'd be surprised if either are still up there in 5 years.

I also signed a young lady's flag that had my name and photo on, sadly she lost that too and would like it back.

Portwood seems like a decent enough choice being young and having potential to improve. Johnson for Franklin just seems a like-for-like change with neither going anywhere fast.

Good to see that none of those riders, apart from maybe Larsen and Sundstrom, look like turning into average riders like NKI/Walasek/Ulamek/Harris who have blighted the GPs in the past.

I do believe that Denmark have also named a 6-man team with 1 as reserve. I imagine any further injuries would see others called up.

Formidable top 3 in Holder, Crump and Ward. The rest of them are nothing special IMO.
