  1. And Poole is the best place for England to try and beat Australia? ISYCMTSU.
  2. Definitely once every 4 years and then have a one-off world final inbetween too.
  3. The Danes with Nicki should win it but I think England has a fighting chance, Poland aren't as good and Czechs are beatable.
  4. Good performance by England and they never stopped fighting til the end. If England can ride like that in Malilla and the track is similar to a GP they stand a chance, but mainly England's chances depend on Nicki Pedersen coming back. Well done England for last night anyway.
  5. Seen a few results with Glenn Moi doing alright, is he a decent prospect or a similar level to Daniel Gunnestad?
  6. 1 #1 Greg Hancock 87 2 #4 Jason Crump 78 3 #8 Chris Holder 78 4 #10 Nicki Pedersen 72 5 #5 Tomasz Gollob 64 7 #6 Emil Sayfutdinov 58 8 #2 Andreas Jonsson 47 9 #3 Jaroslaw Hampel 46 Copied from the SpeedwayGP site. They are, IMO, the world's best. All the rest like Bjerre, Lindgren and Lindback are decent on their day and can win GPs but not regularly. The likes of Vaculik, Ward and G Laguta are also there or thereabouts.
  7. Hopefully Watt will make it through, seems to have worked hard to get where he is and deserves a crack at the GPs, wasn't too bad in his few meetings a while back. NKI will probably take one going by form and maybe Vaculik for the last spot.
  8. Gollob G Laguta A Laguta Kolodziej Harris Wolbert Watt Woffinden
  9. 12 Greg Hancock 12 Jason Crump 11 Chris Holder 9 Emil Sayfutdinov
  10. 5 from each of the 3 meetings qualify however if Pavlic finishes in the top 5 in his semi-Then possibly the 6th rider in that meeting will qualify. Final is at Gorican on Saturday 29th September
  11. Who cares, Nicki plays them all like a master, he knew Holder would eventually lose his cool and he got his reward, just a shame the ref was not consistent. That is why Nicki is a TRIPLE WC and Holder will more than likely not win 1, especially not when his buddy gets in.
  12. 10 Jason Crump 9 Andreas Jonsson 6 Kenneth Bjerre 5 Michael Jepsen Jensen WC
  13. Another winter of complaining and threat of strikes in Poland.
  14. Think Chris Harris might do it people. This is his year, hopefully if not this year he can end strongly for a charge next year.
  15. If this quote is true; Then i'd say people don't expect him to be a superstar, just to be remotely decent, which lets be fair he has never shown. If he wasn't Australian and called Holder then how many seasons would he have lasted?
  16. No leave them alone, bar the SWC they're the only thing that is entertaining these days
  17. Nice to see Freddie get the win in front of his home fans, hopefully that'll mean now Bomber and Freddie have home GP wins, that both can drop out happy at the end of the year and allow some new talent in.
  18. That could prove Stoke's downfall, with the way the team was built, you always end up having some 3 point no hopers in there, at least Reade has turned out well for them.
  19. 11 Chris Holder 9 Andreas Jonsson 5 Kenneth Bjerre 4 Tomas H Jonasson WC
  20. This can not be for real? £17.50 for a polo shirt with a NL reserve's name on? The world has gone well and truly bonkers.
  21. I thought Australia have only had 1 WC in the last 70 years or so? In fact I think Australia are a little bit overrated in this country in terms of producing riders.
  22. That's all well and good and I don't think anyone on this topic has a problem with that. The problem arises when you get old plodders who are pushing 40/50 and clearly lack the talent or the ambition to make it as a pro. If a rider was 40 and of a decent standard or was determined to become a pro I can't see why the NJL should not accomodate him (or her).
