It struck me when spectating at Glasgow yesterday that, even though we can't have air fences down the straights, there must be a better option. The fence at Glasgow funnily enough was almost mesh, with the usual tyres/flexible posts behind it, you wouldn't want to hit it but it'd probably absorb some impact anyway. The answer is surely not having a solid wooden fence running along the straight of a speedway track.

First visit to the new Ashfield yesterday and I was really impressed. Facilities, presentation, everything was absolutely spot on. Even the little extras like people being on hand to help out or welcoming you in, real personal touch. Didn't think much of the racing but given the TR supposedly went 2/3 times then maybe the track was just too good.

Such a joke club Plymouth, they have no soul. They are the MK Dons of speedway. Just a team of random odds and ends who sometimes win.

Does he really though? He complained about Kildemand jumping off his bike (again) at Cardiff but later on when NKI ploughed into him he just took it in his stride. I don't think Nicki complains about anything other than Doyle, Kildemand etc using his reputation to con the ref.

Anyone who advocates putting someone in hospital is the absolute lowest of the low. If British Speedway has benefited from anything recently it's the fact the whole Cradley thing has started to stutter. It rids of us loony tunes like you passing themselves off as "die hards".

I personally don't like Woffinden but I have to accept just how clever and professional he has been through his career. Ever since starting out you got the impression he was super organised, and that followed all the way through until the present day. Look at his EL move, was it the fashionable Poole with all the cool kids & money? No, it was Wolverhampton, not very fashionable but a good solid support network to give him the best possible chance. When you compare Woffinden with another wonderkid and their career paths to date, it doesn't take a genius to work out the differences. I honestly believe Woffinden is that far ahead of 99% of them off the track that he'll be at least a 4-5 world champ.

Or whoever has the world feed just gets rid of the most boring fools in speedway in the commentary box.
