The police just don't bother with "Travelers" to hard to nail down, any minor crime they conveniently disappear, so it doesn't look good with crime solved results! They (85%) are a lawless bunch that get away with anything other than murder!
-
It's his reward for having a good season, served his purpose & out.

One of the problems then being your number 7 rider quits you then have to find a replacement, normally a lesser rider than the one that has only lost confidence (but still a good prospect). A good team manager you would hope can advise & encourage your number 6s & 7s or have a designated person to do so.
-
Yes & so "COULD" any rider with a starting average less than 6!
-
That would be Scalextric!

Can anyone tell me if Plymouth have any rider assets? if so it would make sense to get them fixed up with a team place somewhere. Will Gary May carry on as team manager in 2022? if so can we PLEASE can stop him & other team managers switching the reserve riders rides, which is only to the detriment of your weakest reserve! overall you gain nothing. Finally when will season tickets go on sale.

I would like to see Zane Keleher in the Championship in 2022 & Oxford could be perfectly suited for both, had a superb 5-1 with guest Scott Nicholls @ the coliseum in 2021 as shown on the Plymouth website.
-
Value for money rider & character, very popular with the crowd @ Plymouth & Poole.

They were all part of the Limited Company that ran the speedway -when things go bad they can just wash their hands of it & walk away. Just like Nigel Wagstaff did a few years ago @ Oxford Silver Machine pulled the plug on the speedway owing thousands while Mr & Mrs Wagstaff drove around in 2 brand new matching cars! Not nice but legal. It's been said before but don't the team captains have to sign paperwork that all is in order with wages being paid up-to-date prior to the start of each meeting?
-
Jason's injury @ wolves was 7 broken ribs (little known fact) then rode when not 100% fit. Not the best move when you were the man every other rider wanted to beat in the U.K. 2021.
-
A little respect please! Fact is J.C. is on a false average, I could see him average 10 no problem also no better coach & advisor for the younger team members.
-
I can't see Kennett improving his average, but everyone else could do once they get dialed in on the unique Plymouth track. As long as they beat Poole @ Wimbourne road I will be happy as will many others! People have overlooked that Richard Lawson's 2021 season finished with injury, has he fully recovered? might take a while to get back in the grove.
-
Teams have been given until Dec 7th? to declare their commitment for the 2022 season, so if one or both the 2 teams are go where do they find their riders?
-
Will the signing be the new number 1 to replace the departed Richard Lawson? If Birmingham are saved & a even bigger IF Kent are saved are there enough riders to fill the remaining team places. Surely only when all teams have committed to run & you know what riders are available can you then set a points limit, sorry but that's just common sense & we are dealing with the BSP ltd.!

Copied from my Glasgow post: I'm told most team managers don't get paid in the Championship, so that might be a small problem in finding a better "volunteer" @ Glasgow or elsewhere. Personally I would prefer to offer my services as to be a freelance mechanic (dope & oil monkey) @ £100 - £150 per night.

Birmingham Brummies 2020
Ghosty replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Unless you are on the Colin Hill VAT scheme your £16.50 or £14 admission charge will include VAT @ 20%. -
What are Gary May's team plans now that Richard Lawson has jumped ship & Eddie Kennett's average was mis calculated (so we are told). Next signing might be Mark Phillip's "nephew".

Good post, what happens when you have 3 rain-offs on the trot? running on a break even figure - $hite Happens! I could clearly see last season that UK Speedway needed to reinvent itself for 2022, so what has the BSP ltd. done? sweet F.A. -
Also "Shocking" reflection on Poole if true.
-
Anything happening @ Plymouth - team , stadium or sponsors etc.
-
Come on then Oxford can you name some riders please. I know one local sponsor that would be keen to see Nathan Stoneman in the line-up, what would be his average & would he be good enough?
-
Brennan is still learning, best to be able to ride all tracks & become the better rider.
-
Easiest money earnt in Speedway are the "hired for the night" riders mechanic/ fuel & Oil guys, I'm told they get £100 - £150 per night not a bad bit of pocket money in these hard times!
-
Most riders ride in both leagues so therefore have REAL averages for both leagues, so were or how does the conversion rate apply?
